That sounds like a puppet...a true fan criticizes for the greater good. I like the look of the cars up for DLC though. I think we will see alot of Touring Camaro vs Challenger races.

Well, the whole DLC IS for the greater good if your a real GT fan? In my theory of the black and white pic where u can see the cars i mentioned before and it looked like dealership cars that got RM'd. But i think ppl would rage their a** off if they payed for this DLC and only got the option of more cars to racemodify ;o

Camaro vs. Challenger touring car battles sounds awesome!

PD have already carried out the RM for you, that is all.

there's nothing to defend. Honestly if by now you don't have an xbox 360 and Forza 3 and 4 you're not a real car/racing fan

Been playing the Granturismo Series since GT1 on Ps1..Does that not make me a real "car/racing fan"...?

Have to say, this is probably the worst case scenario as far as DLC content is concerned.

Charging us for RM versions of premium cars that are already in the game? I could see, maybe, taking about 15 or 20 popular standard cars and making them premium, but this is really disappointing.

Guys, remember this is only the first DLC, and if you don't like the cars you don't have to purchase them. I for one am STOKED about the Miata Touring Car!!! :D

Remember this game has almost been out for a year..In my opinion there should have been DLC for cars and tracks a long time ago. I'm happy to actually see theres DLC being put out, but im only really looking foward to the RM's of the Skylines and both mazdas.:dopey:

I agree 100%, but im just happy that they're actually starting to make DLC. Hopefully there will be more...and not take 4-8 months to come out with it..

Apart from Spa the entire DLC is BS. There's nothing new here to shout about, a bunch of make believe so-called 'touring cars', 3 karts and an X2011. Let's just be truthful about this crap, PD took a bunch of premium cars that they already have the models for, tweaked the shape slightly, gave them a new skin and are expecting us to pay for them. Utter BS. There are a ton of real racing cars they could have made like DTM, WRC, LMP1 cars, there are god knows how many stock cars that are not in the game from various manufacturers that could have been made. But no, we get this bunch of lazy, half-arsed efforts. **** you PD.

Well I don't know about you guys but there have been so few games out this year that I've cared about, much less bought (so far I've only bought DXHR and BF3), I have a few quid kicking around so I'm probably going to buy these cars, but I do say that as a person who genuinely doesn't mind the stacks of GT-Rs (also as someone who knows the difference between them), and as someone who has been wanting an R32 touring car for a while anyway. Sure, it's a shame that it's just a re-skin, but I don't know where else I'm going to get close to the Group A machines that dominated touring car racing for a year and were banned immediately after.

Hmm i am wondering how many of you will buy the racing car pack?
Do you guys think we will be able to repaint the cars and change the rim of the cars?

noone have to buy something because it will be for free

Makes you wonder what PD have been up to since GT5's release, two tracks (1 and a half to be exact) and 15 variations of models already in the game as premiums.

In other words, PD expect me to pay the track pack for Spa, a car pack for the new X1, RM Skylines or RX7, an awful looking gear pack for The Stig's gear, and a paint pack for some cool paints that once you've painted a car with you will never see again!? Seriously, I though Kaz was an honorable and respectful man, I guess they want to compete with Turn10 on being lazy greedy sobs.

The mx5 drew me in more than the r32 and even fd. I'm quite looking forward to the 125 karts as I enjoy racing them and a more powerful engine is a win.
I would of much prefered road cars, however.

Nothing more to say here. PD = Pure Disappointment

I'm really mystified as to what's going on at PD. They really seem out of touch. SPA and a go-cart track? Do they look on the Internet? There are other car manufactures outside of Japan.

I for one am really impressed with the DLC that is coming around,

Track Pack: Spa sounds great but i feel excited for the Kart track more for some reason
Racing Car Pack: I lol'd at the Prius Touring, but hey, they at least tried to make it cool, the other cars look sweet too and the Chevy Camaro RM finally has a contender, im most pleased of the Mazda RM cars though :D
Racing Gear: Looks interesting I suppose, i do like the GT Helmet though :)
Paint: pretty swish and nice looking
Complete package: I say, for what is within this first batch of DLC (remember there may be more to come) is pretty great value, I will be getting the complete pack when it comes out :D

I am disappointed with the racing car pack; especially as I thought we would get some newer and real race cars such as the Ferrari 458 Italia GT2 and BMW M3 GT2.
It's also sad to say that there are no European cars either. A race modifiable Ferrari, Aston Martin or Mercedes would have been cool as well.
The race cars that they do have are very nice, except for the X2011 which is ridiculous.
Can't wait to battle the Subaru vs Mitsubishi at Spa
Why are people complaining over the Prius anyway it's Polophony's way of showing they care about the environment, and how fun will it be to drive that faster than some sports cars :)

All of the things combined for $11.99 whereas Turn 10 charges you $15 for a single track. I know it's cool to whine and stuff but as people have pointed out already, this is first DLC of many so just wait for the next one before being all doom and gloom. I would also like to remind you that obody is forcing you to buy it if you don't like it.

Well I will get the track pack for Spa alone, but the rest can go whistle.

No way am I paying again for a car pack that mainly consists of RM version of cars already in the game. Honestly the N24 car than Kaz raced that is included in the Spec 2.0 update is actually of more interest to me that anything in the car pack.

Not impressed by this first DLC pack at all.

If you are going to attempt to start a flame-war (which I strongly advise against if you wish to remain a member here) then at the very least be accurate. T10 have never charged $15 for a single track. The FM3 Nurburgring GP track pack was 400 point at launch or approx $5, a third of your claimed price.

I hope Kaz do this DLC mainly for the RM cars.
Who knows, there're a chance that new premium road cars will arrive on the next big update. Not on DLC.

Never say never. :D

Well I guess my perfectly placed expectations don't fail me again. I was expecting Race Mod cars in the DLC pack (since the pic they posted was of all Race Mod cars). I figured that Kaz being Kaz, most of (if not all) of the cars would be Japanese and I was right on that count too. I'll admit that I was expecting a few more tracks and not Spa... but I'm glad Spa is in since a lot of people wanted it. I'd prefer if there had been a few more tracks to come with it but oh well.

The racing suit pack is pretty cool, I may not buy that right away but I'll get around to it. I'm definitely going to buy the Paint pack.
