New car(s) found!!!

Alright, so I was playin around with the hybrid program. several days ago I found the Vauxhull(sp?) VX220, which is the same as the Speedster, exept it has a different grill and emblems. just a couple of mins ago I was looking to build a Miata, and I didn't want to use any of the ones I had, so I went to change car. I found this Roadster SR/Limited, so I thought humm.....I put it ove another car, but it didn't work and was just the name of the Miata over the car that was there. So I decided to go part to part and put all of the Miata parts in the right space. I ended up with....drum roll please.......

a 1st gen Miata with diff wheels, GT plates, built into the bumper mud flaps, and a roll bar. I have yet to drive it, and I'll post a pic in a bit. I'm going to look for others later. But now I can say....I FOUND A HIDDEN CAR!!!
 
Here's one showing the roll cage.....and I noticed the seat belts on the back of the seats.

Cool! Is the top still open while racing? And lower it to 'bout 95mm and put some Enkei's on there :p

I haven't driven it yet....I will when I get done posting this. Also it has chrome mirrors! :p
 
OK, it has the top up, but you can see the rool cage inside the car. I will get off now, gotta look for more hidden cars...

Naw, that's not a lamp, that's the flash. I found 2 more 2 hrs ago, had to go to a wedding so I didn't have a chance to post them.

Anyway, one is a SSPL version and has the same roll cage and japanese plates, and the other is a VSPL version and has a full tan interior, chrome rims, and gt plates. Something is wrong with one of them, as the game locks trying to get into the garage, but it doesn't lock in arcade mode. So I guess I'll have to get rid of them or redo them. No pics, they're not that special. ;)

Still going to look for more cars.....

I think he already did, see the drops of ....erm... water on the screen. :p

Nice one Maz. I'm building a Demio awd like yours, we can trade .ini files when i'm done.

That's right cuz all the Opels are known as Vauxhalls in Britain. In every other country the VX220 is known as the Speedster. And this really sucks, cuz if you have the PAL-version and use English as language, all the opels will be vauxhalls :dizzy:
And those emblems are SOOOO butt-ugly compared to Opels

If you look for the Calibra and the Astra you'll find that they too have different grills and emblems! (2 versions)!

So for me to get the opels (and play in an understandable language) I have to start another game in french/italian/german (or whatever) play til I get the opels and trade them to my original (english) savegame! Alot of work there but HEY, I gotta have those opels right? (I love them) :D

I know what you mean - we had a Holden (Australian GM subsidiary) Vectra, and the Holden badge is basically a neat little circle with a lion in the middle

- very neat, probably better than the Opel badge with the little horizontal lightning bolt - and when I saw the Vectra in GT2, I was horrified to see that horrible Vauxhall grille.
 
I don't think the VX220\Speedster is anywhere near as good as the Elise in RL,though it has been tweaked by Lotus. :D
In the game the handling felt a bit sluggish,maybe because i haven't tuned it properly.
 
Well, earlyer I found a set of S2000s, some with little black rectangles under the head lights, and others in different colors....just try the ones that have the file name with an "a" in it, and an "e" in it. Also just try the ones with "opt", "org".....there is also a Lancer rally car that says "special", haven't tryed it yet. There's also a Skyline R34 GTR M, and I didn't notice a difference with it, but it must be different. And all of the "sample" cars, haven't tryed those, but some are posted in another post.
 
Here's the steps:
1. get shark port
2.connect SP to PS2 and PC
3. DL hybrid program
4. get your save off your mem card and onto your pc with SP
5. open program and have it with your garage save.
6.click on car you don't want, click change car, and find the roadsters in the list.
7. click on one you want, click select, write garage, go to SP program, hit import save, find the save, hit restore.
8. go to your PS2, take SP disc out, put GT3 in, restart, and hope that the car you selected won't lock the garage. :p

You mean the game never opens up again or unlocks once you reset ?

NO! It just means that you need to have a backup save, so if a car decides to lock your garage, you load up the good save. And there's always just going into the codes and finding whats wrong.
