As poorly argued as this is, it is somewhat true.

I'm sure the moderators don't get kicks out of locking threads - so if no-one replies to an unnecessary thread, it will drop down the forum naturally. This eliminates a moderator needing to lock it.

Just something to think about before posting

(And this thread was at the top of the forum when I posted it - so this post didn't ironically bump it )
