New Chase Cam (Frame Rate Issue)!

Ever since the latest update I have been having frame rate problems with the new chase cam. I didn't have any frame rate issues prior to this update when using the chase cam.

I'm curious if all this extra movement added to this view with the latest update is the root of the problem. Anyone else experiencing this? I've gone through my settings ect. to reduce frame rate issues.., but this doesn't fix it. Again.., this WAS NOT present prior to the latest patch.
 
all I can tel is that the new chase cam makes me wanna barf ... especially when driving at 400km/h on the "hunaudieres" straight of Le Mans
 
It looks to me like a motorbike view
 
The new added movement doesn't really bother me. I really don't know why they felt the need to change it too. Even before the update IMO.., GT5 had the BEST chase cam of any racing game I've played.

I can also see how the new version can be a little disorientating for some too. I'm just surprised to see frame rate problems now that weren't present prior to the update.

I honestly think that if PD just dropped this new chase cam and went back to the old one that there really won't be a big outcry from the community. It appears that many aren't really happy with it.
 
As "kewl" as it is, I think I'd prefer Forza's chase cam (which is far less stomach-turning and eye-bobbling) or the old static chase cam. It's quite annoying, especially when you notice the random pauses between camera directions.

Also would love to be able to pan around my car with the right stick.
 
Cant say i have noticed the framerate issues yet...havnt played much since update...but the new bumpy chase cam is pretty annoying. Anyone know if it can be adjusted or turned off?

Yes I've noticed this too, it almost seems like it misses a frame maybe?. Seems to happen more in corners for me .

I've started to use bonnet cam to negate these problems which is going well but sometimes the full on effect of the surrounds flying past at speed has my head spinning more than the new chase cam 
 
I've experienced this a lot too with my chase cam. Starts to happen after a varying amount of time. However, I've noticed that the same thing also happens with the track map on the HUD...maybe it follows that as well?
 
revert the camera to how it was, please pd. Or let us chose if we want the extra movement or not!

Me too I had some frame rate issues, especially in the corners, the image moves to the left or right depending on the corner. I'm using the interior cam or the hood one, the chase cam bothers me and makes me sick. Hope they change it.
