you guys are all just not comfortable with you sexualitys enough to drive a hot pink car...
its my fave color BTW, and you know the saying, "pink means pussayyy"

I'm confident about my sexuality, im straight :) . I just wouldn't be confident about the sexuality of guys that might approach me if I'm driving a pink car  . It just could get pretty embarrasing after a while. And the amounts of hearts I would have to break:p

I present... The Jimi Hendrix Experience...

Man 260... a 240z should be black, blue, or red IMO... i think a pink 240 might look a bit funny...

My philosophy is if you have a bad ass and classic car why would you do something to it to make it less than what it is...

Yes, I don't really think you should try and make a classic car pimptastic by making it pink. Make it pimptastic by giving it a classy paintjob.

And you think you'll be able to drift around corners, at 80mph, sideways, in two years? Good luck with that, and make sure you can do it, because I imagine drifting around a corner at 30mph in a pink car would just make you look like an idiot. I don't so much have a problem with it being pink, I've had that idea before, but I also thought about how much money putting on professional coat of pink paint would cost. You could put that into car modifications, or driving lessons, or another car, or toward the downpayment on a house/apartment, or rainy day money.... You see where I'm going.

after two years of practicing drifting, i will be suprised if the car is still in one piece

Why would you bother drifting in real life.
It's so pointless and hard on the car.
You'd spend more time working and earning money for replacement parts and tires than you would actually drifting.

The reason there are pink and orange drift cars is because drifting is a game and is more skillful entertainment than serious sports driving. Drift cars are toys. With ideal drift parts and settings, a car would be uncomfortable and very unsafe to drive.

And, why anyone would actually pay that kind of money to paint their car pink, unless they were female, is really beyond me...

I wouldn't mind driving a car painted this color pink: (picture below), but as I said before, I think it's a bad idea painting your car YF pink.

pink 👎 seriously that is the worst color to choose. I'd rather go for the old rusted look than pink.

good luck with the drifting, imo you should get a beater to learn and then drift yo pimped out Z.

What are you basing this on? Unsafe to drive? They're no different than a race car. Now a fully stripped, caged, race bucket, 450hp drift car would be uncomfortable to drive everyday. But who says that's ideal?

Because it's fun! Why bother skateboarding in real life? Snowboarding? Shooting? You can do all of that in video games, or watch it on TV. But there's nothing like the real thing. It's fun, it's a cool subculture (the real drifters, that is, not the "internet drifters"), and it's one hell of an adrenaline rush.

As for pink, I'm not to hot on a pink Z. I think the best would be to go with orange and the CF hood, with black deep dishes, just like on the 432R. A black or white Z would also be cool, especially with some old school JDM deep dish chrome & bronze rims.

If you do go with pink, though.... Get some SSR Sakura rims. Look 'em up and you'll see why.

So the general conclusion is that certain pinks are ok on certain cars?

Only if you're Austin Powers.

BTW going sideways at 80mph doesn't make you look macho in my book, makes you look like a prat.

Here are my reasons:
1. I am pretty good with fixing cars
2. I need something to do on the weekends
3. I have some money to waste
4. It's a challenge
5. It's an adrenaline rush
6. It's fun to watch review videos
7. It's a way to get out and meet new people
8. If you're into cars, you see a ton of them
9. Every car handles differently, so that's fun
10. You don't need permission to do it

I thought about the 432R, but it goes back to my original theory, how would you like to get stomped by a pink car. and can you post some pics of the SSR Sakura's? I looked on yahoo.com and couldn't dig any up. just a pic or a link to a pic would be cool.

and I thought about it, people who say who would put pink on a Z or pink wouldn't look good on a Z. I bet that is what people were saying about the Silvia chassis in japan before Yashio Factory came along :D . thanks.

rock.

dude, YF pink rocks, but it would just look awkward on ur godly Z. i agree to the guy that posted that ur Z should be black or red. heck, it would even rock on yellow. and get like a custom decal thats says PWNAGE and stick right on the back. lol

Here are a couple examples of the kind of rims I was talking about for colors other than pink:
