New DLC Free Car and Update 2.02

I see something extrange about this DLC.. gran-turismo.com/jp does not says anything about the dlc and as far as Im concerned they update their site quite often. The is no info regarding the DLC from japan??
Maybe there is something more... something that they have not shown yet. Its Christmas+1yr of GT5, quite simple..
Edit: I love that German love... 2VW? Nice. Some Passat or Pheaton would be nice addition in the future.
 
The car pack....just isn't my taste. GTR, we meet again, as always....


I hope the improved sounds mean better muscle car sounds, like the Cougar and Challenger, etc.

And personally, Hypercars may be what alot want, but people like me are just happy to get what they get.

I like hyper cars, But the most enjoyable cars for me are anything below 550pp, The dlc should target the whole of gt's custom base, So far both dlc's have not been target to my likings, Dlc should consist of hyper/super cars and race cars plus low-mid hp cars, This dlc we are getting though is half arsed

Users can now change wheels on Standard cars

Pressing the Square button in the car coupon selection screen of the Car Delivery will now allow you to exchange all car coupons at once, rather than doing one at a time


These new cars will also be available as DLC for $3.99:

2011 Mini Cooper S
2010 Volkswagen Scirocco R
2012 Nissan GT-R Black edition R35.

Update is great, but the dlc? 4 cars for 4 bucks? And everybody is saying its cheap? I don't quite get that.
I hope they worked on the AI again like they did last time, I finally want to have competitive racing against the AI without having to pick a totally underpowered car.
 
Great new DLC. Though i'm hoping more supercar. :p
I just hope they have new tracks to offer and those new DLC cars can be RM. Like this:

This DLC should be free :mad:

I hope we get update till Spec 3 though :cool: and do a big DLC like the first one. Something like 25 cars for 5$

How can you say for sure that it is possible? at least point out its a guess/rumour beforehand unless you actually have said DLC before its out, in which you (or anyone for that matter) would be very lucky :P

Regarding the whole update and DLC as a whole: WILL YOU ALL STOP COMPLAINING. When car DLC 1 came out, all I heard was "we want more road cars blah etc" and now after this pack (car DLC 2) your all like "wahhh we want more race-cars blah etc" GET YOUR HEADS IN GEAR and don't let them slip around like a spinning wheel without an LSD setting applied to your neck! Cant any of you decide what you actually like or are you mindless sheep that follow the herd? make up your own minds! Just stop begging for what YOU want, supercars and ric- racers are not what everyone wants.

In all seriousness though, in my opinion I DO think this is a nice DLC pack,small and sweet, and a very good bargain. I am also really relieved (for now) that there are no silly, stupid supercars/hyper-cars that most little kids want to go 269MPH in all the damn time, a lot of fun can be had even in these little hatches an bulbous techno sports cars (Nissan GT-R 2012 im looking at you for that). Mind you, having a free "Toyota GT-86" affordable, actually sensible-yet-great-fun sports car in the game with the update is just the icing on the already lovingly packed and decorated GT-Cake. :)

Keep up the awesome work PD and keep making us GT fans proud of your work for many iterations an years to come. :D

What's not to be excited about? Adding the ability to change wheels on standards removes one of my last real gripes about the game. Sometimes I just browse through my garage and ogle at the premium cars I own. The standard cars don't look THAT bad except for the ugly rims many of them have. Soon I may be spending more time in the standard hangar.

As for the DLC, everyone has their wish list and you can't please everyone. If you don't like what you see then you don't have to buy it. I'm just excited to see some totally new cars added to the game.

Why do you want to destroy a great car like the new GTR by tunning it up to 1000hp?the tru fun is driving it stock without any upgrade!
 
Wow I'm impressed. This is going to be a great update. The improved car sounds and ability to change the rims on standard cars is great. I won't be getting this DLC though.
 
Not impressed with the paid DLC. This is supposed to be Christmas. People are in a buying mood. Their offering is so mediocre.

The special "gift" for those of us who purchased the first round of DLC is insulting. Another kart to collect dust. Would be cool if it was a shifter kart. But, no.

Now let's not count our chickens before they hatch, it says that "racing sounds will be improved" not car sounds.. people will expect car sounds to be improved, and when they're not, people will complain and blame PD.. I'd love to see car sounds improved, but I doubt it will happen..
