Well, no. I don't get it. There seem to be one-on-one callouts every now and again, but I don't understand what a team is beyond a line in your signature. All they really seem to be is cliques.
 
Why be in a car club? Same thing. My team is more in preparation for GT4's online play. It's just a fun community thing. I've had a whole lot more fun playing GT3 after getting involved with GTP and a team.
 
That's fine, and I understand that. I guess my question boils down to asking whether or not the teams actually compete and work together, or whether you just hang out together for socializing's sake.
 
We help eachother out all the time. At least on my team. I think we're pretty tight-knit. There has yet to be a team competition but there will definately be many in the future. That would be more likely in GT4 though.
 
when gt4 comes out (inline play) all hell will break loose. all the teams will actually be able to compete face to face, it will be great.

Inline play is gonna be sweet. My aunt works at Rollerblade so all my skates cost like $15 when they'd cost $180-300 in the stores. I got 3 pairs :D. I've only used one pair once and another only twice. Discounts rock.

the whole Gran turismo teanms thing is pointless until there's online racing in gt4. if you can'r ace each other, or race other teams, that what makes your team a team?

I think once GT4 comes out there will be a mad rush of new members joining teams, i call the name VashTheStampede for online play.
