I was so excited to try out GT4 on the way home from purchasing it. When I first started playing, I naturally started tuning like I did in GT3. May not work in most cases. For instance, the Active Stability Management or (ASM) now has two options. One for oversteer, and one for understeer. In GT3 I always drove with the ASM off, but if you try that in GT4, you will not drift correctly. Note that the more you increase the setting of ASM understeer, the more you will oversteer, and more you increase the ASM oversteer, the more you understeer. Find the setting that best fits your style then tweak other things like suspension, LSD, ect... Have fun!
P.S. There is also an option to adjust the weight to be more towards the front or rear. It is best to set more towards the rear to induce oversteer. (Not recommended with the Mid-ship cars.)
