In the next update pd should add the ability to purchase multiple cars at once. They should also add the ability to purchase all perforce upgrades all at once. I think this would cut down on time since the game takes so long to load as is and auto saves every second. There should also be an option to turn auto save off. What do you guys think about this?
 
In the next GTP update, we should have the ability to make useless threads like this invisible...
Use the freakin search :banghead:!

No! I'm sorry, but I don't like your ideas at all

It doesn't make sense if you can buy two same used cars at the same time. And that upgrade thing isn't so bad but I still don't like it.

I agree with the OP. Yesterday I bought 8 cars. It could have been much faster if there was some sort of check box on each car or like putting them in the cart and purchasing all of them at once.
 
Auto-save can be avoided by restoring your game-save (frequently back it up), as for all tuning parts being added in one go, which ones?
All? That would still mean you have to go into the tuning shop for engine stages, weight reduction and chassis reinforcement, etc.
So the time saved is gonna be minimal.

If you think its a useless thread, report it and stop your whining. Let the mods decide that.

I could say the exact same thing to you. The don't care what the mods think. The lack of work by them, is the reason we constantly get these pointless threads.

No, you can't say the same thing to me. First, I don't give a rats ass if its a useless thread or not. Second, I'm not the one crying about it, you are. I simply stated that if you don't like it, report it and let the mods decide if its useless or not.
 
Turning autosave off you can already do, and personally I like your idea, if you implemented it in such a way where you click each car you want in the color you want from each dealer, in the quantity you want (say you're getting the cars for their paint chips), then when you're finished hit start and it can say "do you want to buy the selected cars?" then you say yes and you got them.. That'd make life so much easier

You are, however, the one "crying" about my comment. Which is esentially the same thing as me complaining about this thread. Take the thread away, and both our problems would be solved 💡.

I agree, these unpaid volunteer mods really need to work harder. I read once one talking about spending time with family and I sent him an angry PM. How dare he step away from the computer when someone just opened a pointless thread in the forum.:dunce:

Edit: maybe I misread that and you mean lack of work by the OP not the mods, meaning searching, is the reason but you still are making too big of a deal about it. Point them in the right direction, don't be a jerk about it.

On topic, I would love to purchase multiple cars at a time. Give us a check box, especially in the OCD and UCD and then purchase all option.

multiple car purchases? how about multiple oil changes?

every time I decide it would be fun to pull out a standard car online I notice the oil light is on. going through 500+ cars for an individual oil change would take a lifetime!!

Actually no, they don't need to work harder. They simply need to be smarter in the way new people and their threads are handled.

And if the work is too much for them, then let them resign. No one is forcing them. If you want to be a mod, you need to be willing to put some work into it.

I guess I was wrong with my edit. Your are just going on a tangent right now. Are the mods complaining? I don't see it? I wrote a comment responding to you, not a mod. But if you think there is a problem with the way mods are handling threads, then PM Jordan about it. Being a jerk to new members, though, isn't going to fix anything.

I like the idea on buying more then one car at a time. Would save much time. Stop arguing people! My god, we're not 3 years old now are we?

I would definately go for the "buying multiple cars at once" option,but i kinda like doing the mods myself.
 
Oh my look what I started! I'm sorry I'm new here and I don't want anyone to fight or get mad. I'm sure everyone did the same thing I did when they first joined, it's not fair to get mad at me for being new if you probably had done the same when you first joined. Ps the "you" doesn't go out to anyone personally but everyone as a whole.
 
Surely PD could implement multiple purchases as tickets. Buy as many cars as you like at once then back on the Home screen, go to car delivery and swap them for the car(s). This is already in place with DLC car packs so no reason why can't be setup for existing New dealership and UCD. Would save a lot more time but not an issue at the moment.
 
Better yet, why not add a regular car dealer like the premium cars got? Have 4 different used car dealerships and a tuner shop like GT4? O well maybe in the next game, other than that, GT5 is still a lot of fun to drive.

Multiple car purchase and performance upgrade purchase, that would be interesting. It's like a cart system in past NFS games. that would come in pretty handy.

But if PD were to implement the multiple car purchase system, they would have to bring back the car purchase tickets, i.e. after selecting and purchasing 5 cars at the UCD, you would then have 5 tickets for those cars added in your Car Delivery option.

I'm a car collector, and yes I find it pretty tedious when buying one car at a time :crazy::crazy:
