New format!

Due to popular opinion - or should I say, "due to getting my head bashed in by 15 different people from 23 different directions" - I've decided to change the format of the races. You'll still test during the week, but weekends have changed.

We'll stick with the 5-lapper, but lap times won't count. Instead, only full race time will count. So it's basically the same as before, but going on full race time only.

Once you're satisfied, PM your RACE TIME and BEST LAP to me. This will be your result for the week. The best lap doesn't mean much, it's just an interesting statistic.

Any questions, feel free to PM me.

edit: Alright, I just read one of the above posts, asking total time to be the result and best lap as a statistic. I'll change it to that.

Is everyone happy with that?
 
I knew it would come out that way...:(

Its that all we have been asking for all this time is to make total race time count as final result. You dont need to change the 5-lapper.
 
Well I'll wait and see what all the others think about it.

I'll be sure to check it out later, but for now Im out. Sorry if this is causing you problems.. if it werent for you, we wouldnt have any competition at all.

How about having the Total time and fastest lap there but have the full race time count towards the results?
 
Yea.. fastest lap does not count, but its still an interesting statistic.
 
Listen up

Fastest lap time in a submitted race - If it were like this then we'd all know it was and then try for our fastest lap during our submitted race

Fatsest overall race time - If it were like this then we'd all know it was and then try for our fastest total race time

My point is that

Its still a race/competition whichever one we choose. I think we'd all prefer total race time so if we are all agreed then total race time it is. Storm cud just put a special "extra" in there with the fastest lap time during the week but with the results being judged by overall time.

Whichever it is we need to decide

I dunno bout ne1 else but Im njoying it whichever way round it is so lets jus all decide and have an answer once and for all

then no more banging on about it !!!! we need to race - not question the way the results are judged blahdy blah !!!
 
Hey James, but everything is resolved. We are judged on total race time, and SS will add our fastest lap for that race as a statistic. Its like a real F1 race, where the final result is based on position, which is based on total race time. But they also keep the individual best lap times for each driver during that race. I think all is well now :) Took awhile but Im glad its all been resolved.

Indeed. Total time will now count as submission, and best lap will just be the statistic.
