The Kerbhunters Time Attack Championship
- organised by GORO - The Global Online Racing Organisation

Hey everyone, and welcome to what might just be the wildest — and yes, most expensive — racing series in all of Gran Turismo!

We all love the weekly time trials, and we all have our favorite cars. So why not bring those two worlds together? As a big fan of time attack and hillclimb racing, I’ve always been fascinated by the incredible variety of builds out there. Some cars are homegrown creations, built by passionate enthusiasts in a garage. Others are pet projects from actual companies.

We’re talking everything from classic Fiat 500s, to monster-Fiat 500s with two Hayabusa engines fused into one single 2.4L V8, all the way to Lotus Elise GT1-swapped Opel Kadetts, LM-style prototypes, and open-wheelers from Formula 2, 3, and 4 — across multiple generations.
Horsepower ranges from a modest 100 to well over 1000. It’s brilliant, and it’s all possible thanks to multiclass racing.

For Season 1, we’re keeping it simple with just a handful of classes — but don’t worry, more are coming as we grow. Too many classes, you say? Bonneville Speed Week runs over 300 classes. We’ve got room.

The goal is to keep this as straightforward and fun as possible. Let’s go racing and attacking the clock! Can you hear it ticking?

Firstly, a brief explanation about this championship
More information under the rulebook post

Foreword

  • Any car with any engine swap allowed, aslong as it fits into class regulation
    Few exceptions in engine swaps.

  • You can enter as many cars in as many classes as you like. Best option is to enter ALL of the classes. The more you enter, the more points you score. BUT you are only allowed to have one single entry per class.

  • online lobby, lap has to be recorded AND SHOWING LOBBY SETTINGS AND CAR SETTINGS. Video has to be a live screen capture and uploaded to Youtube.
Youtube-link has to be posted here.

CLASSES

Time Attack Classes.jpg

Street legal cars can be used, fully tuned, without any restrictions.
Not allowed:
-Nitrous
-Bugatti Engine Swap

Cars which are not allowed:
Aston Martin Vulcan '16
Ferrari FXX K

Both cars are labeled in-game as road cars. In real life these are track-only race cars. One single Aston Martin Vulcan has been transformed into a street legal car, but heavy modifications were needed.

Every other modification is allowed
Every tire is allowed
  • FWD Class: Front wheel drive only cars allowed.

  • RWD Class: Rear wheel drive only allowed. Front, mid and rear engined cars are allowed.

  • AWD Class: All wheel drive cars only.

No power and weight limit for each of the Groups.

Classes for special cars to be used which cannot be used in regular classes, such as VGT cars.
  • Chaparral 2X
  • Suzuki VGT
  • Tomahawk X (because why the hell not!)
  • Alpine VGT Race Mode

Round 1: Tsukuba - 01/05/2025 - 30/06/2025
Round 2: Deep Forest - 01/07/2025 - 31/07/2025
Round 3: Trial Mountain - 01/08/2025 - 31/08/2025

The number of points are dependant on the number of competitors in a class.
The more competitors have participated, the more points can be earned.

If only one single competitor has scored a lap, only one point will be awarded.
If two drivers have set a time, the winner receives 2 points, and the second driver one point.
With three drivers, P1=3pts. P2=2pts. P3=1pts. And so on.

If you enter let's say with a RWD Street car, not only are you entering the RWD Streetcar class, but at the same time the overall Street Cars class.

The Post below should show the rulebook, but somehow is hidden as the GTP admins have to approve it?...
