New GT Wheel worth the money?

Is the New GT Wheel worth the money? Does the wheel mess up and start rocking back and forth after steering too hard? I have the old wheel and I'm not sure if I should spend $160 to get the new one...Oh yeah, is there a way to prevent the old wheel from rocking back and forth?
 
def worth its money, works w/ everything ive tried so far for both pc and ps2 games even with the 900 degree mode.

great build quality, doesnt feel like a cheap toy

Oh, and Mazda, the new wheel is definitely worth the money. Much improved on the old wheel. My old wheel does not rock back and forth so I don't know how to help you on that one.
 
I love the wheel! I think it's definitely worth the money. If you want a good deal, get it at amazon.com for $114 (free shipping :) ).

It's awesome how you can also use it on pc. The force feedback for Need for Speed Undeground is pretty good. When you drive over water, the turning gets loose. Compared to previous wheels, there are no shifting or brake problems w/ this wheel.

The wheel just adds a lot of fun to GT.

The wheel makes driving slower cars fun. I unlocked the 900 degree steering (though it's not supported by GT 3) and driving a stock Integra is a blast. In GT 4, the 900 degree steering will be more refined, hopefully.

So get the wheel if you have money right now. If you don't, just save up for it. GT4 won't come out until the fall anyway.
 
ZoSo, thanks for the heads up on the Amazon.com price. I ordered one last night. Cant wait for it to get here so I can try it out.
 
i dont think its worth the money, but thats just cause i cant afford it, its my justification for missing out on such a nice wheel, so if youve got the money than go for it, lucky SOB
 
I personally from experiance can attest that IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! I rarly EVER play with the controller anymore its just not as fun. Now I have the new GT Pro whell so I can say yeah the older wheel wasnt the greatest but if your talking about the latest one its totally is. I am playing through GT3 now over and over again becuase its a completely different more enjoyable experiance.

Just my two cents. First post here btw, I have been a reader of these forums for years, so I figured I should start posting from now on. Anyways glad to be here. ^_^
