How does the Veyron not handle well, VW had the setup reworked cos it handled too much like a race car which isn't what they want, that doesn't sound like it handles badly to me. The F1 on the other hand as good a car as it is has been described by everyone who has driven it close to it's limits as being c=very nervouse and twitchy, the F1 has very very little downforce which is why it car achieve 131Mph which is still the world record for fastest production car, the Veyron has downforce but a much higher power to weight ratio, more power in the first place and tons of torque so it pushes the air out of the way with more ease.

looks amazing but for most of the pics i see 2d wheels:( but anyway if it comes to england i will definately geddit and maybe the break thing is this, the game comes with a coffee dispenser ps2 add-on and every time it comes to the break part it makes u automatically a coffee, tht'd be handy:odd: lol

OMFG

The Honda HSC concept, fantastic looking car, the more I see of GT4 the better it seems, right noe I don't feel like it could get any bet I say the same thing again in a few weeks.

Mna the honda looks real as hell, I wish the camera wsn't focusing on the car because the enviroment is blurry. But overall the game looks real as hell, geezz, go PD, they are the best.

I think that one is a promo pic, it's sharper than the other pics that have been released, heres a new pic of the pit crew, not in game but still.

Heres the pic

Ridge Racer never claims more tracks then they have. They say Race courses. A reversed course is a new course. Daytona Oval and Daytona infield are 2 courses on one track. This coming form a Ridge Racer fan who owns alomst all versions.

HOORAY!! One of my favourites is in there!!! Toyota bB (Black Box)

OMG!!! I've just finished looking at all the pic on this thread.

Mitsubishi HSR-II, I can't believe that's in there, that's amazing, the car of my dreams when I was but a wee lad. This game will be amazing, I can't wait, I must have it, I'm short on breath, I'm.......pass.................ing..................................ou...................

Thanks amar212 and sorry I'm Spanish :P, but if you have a chiped PS2 isn't hard to find a backup(torrent, emule, edonkey, dcc serv..), by the way I think it's a cheap game for getting the original imported version or simply wait some weeks for a possible ntsc or pal version. [/B]

Cool for you being Spanish - thhat means that famous party-land Lloret de Mar is near you :). I still remember that 7 days I've spent there in my high-school hollydays and all the nice/bad/very bad things I've done there:).

And as for my ftp request: I just want to find a way to get it ASAP. Few weeks (which is also time of delivery from Japan) is just not suitable for my head.

That ridiculous beast is basically a quad-turbo engine on wheels that turns about like you'd expect. Please explain how the Veyron could handle anywhere near as well as a McLaren -- it weighs twice as much!

Here's a cute article of the the Bugatti being shown at Laguna Seca:
http://autos.msn.com/as/pebblebeach2003/ar...aspx?xml=veyron

They weren't recording lap times, and the thing spun out on the first turn of the first lap. Oops! Notice the only impressive thing the Bugatti (...cough... Volkswagen... cough...) can do is sound cool when you floor it.

The McLaren, Koenigsegg, and to a slightly lesser extent the Ferrari Enzo are still the only production cars that perform like legitimate race cars.

Even with its huge engine, the Veyron does not, in fact, have a "much higher power to weight ratio" as you say.

McLaren F1 (standard version)
627 hp
1140 kg
0.550 hp/kg
0-60 in 3.4 sec

1997 McLaren F1 GTR (the one in GT4)
600 hp
915 kg
0.656 kg/hp
0-60 in 3.2 sec

1995 McLaren F1 GT
668 hp
1060 kg
0.630 hp/kg
0-60 in 2.9 sec

Bugatti 16/4 Veyron
1001 hp
1900 kg
0.527 hp/kg
0-60 in 3.2 sec (estimated by Bugatti)

Welcome back BBM! Haven't seen ya for a while.

All those cars sound cool, but have you guys heard about more GT 300 cars in GT4? I like those better than the bigger cars. I hear the Autobacs GT 300 Garaiya JGTC Race Car will be in the game. Are you familiar with it? I never heard of it until my PSM December issue said it would be in. Here is the link for it, sorry I can't get the pic for you guys.

Click on the link. Then click on "IMAGES." Then click on the text next to the second picture.

I have to correct on that weight spec for the Bugatti Veyron, the official specs are 1550kg, 50kg more than what was targeted.

Hehe yes nice land :). You receive a pm when the release be done and I find any reliable source to download. :P

*EMS from Japan to Europe 2 days, to your home 2-3 days more.

by the way if any of you think the McLaren F1 is in GT4 because it is in the Prologue version car list.....it isnt. The car was actually a is the FINA Takata Dome JGTC NSX so dont get your hopes up. But just like most of you i do hope the F1 is included. We'll just have to wait and see.

The stats for the Bugatti are wrong, it has 987Bhp and weighs 1550kg, the spin at Laguna seca was quite a while ago and down to driver error, the F1 has been tested by loads of people, and I'm not slagging that car off when I say this, neither were the people who tested it, but the handling at sped is pretty bad, it lacks that important thing, downforce, Bugatti handles well, it has downfoce, I'm not saying it will be better than this and that, but it will handle very well and I wouldn't be suprised if it handles better than the production F1. As for the race car handling, the Veyron isn't meant to handle like a race car, thats why VW is still working on it, cos at the monment thats what it handles like.

not really. The mclaren was on the list and the nsx was also on the list. They didnt show a pic of the mclaren but it was on the list

live4speed-the weight was already corrected and even at 1550 its still a fatass of a car compared to the F1. You havent shown any articles where people have said the F1 is shaky at speed nor any down force specs on both cars...

hope the Mclaren F1 does make it in the game . Be so good. Be a Formula 1 car rival with quite little tuning

No, I don't see it on the official car list. Here it is now, translated from Japanese. Some of those cars sound kind of funny. Like the Spoon Fitting, NSX Takata Child Dream, Mitsubishi Run Sir Evolution V GSR, Nissan Sill Beer, Toyota Mosquito GT-Four Rall Car, and my favorite the BMW Pillow.

BMW "pillow" is actually the Mclaren. It is the McLaren Fina GTR F1 :D Unfortunately, it is the long body version. I had hoped to see the road going version myself.

I never knew BMW made the McLaren, so my apologies askia47.

Hey cool, this is gonna give me a bad rap, but damn I'm glad they have an xB in GT4. I can look at the different rims to put on it for when I get one.

Nick:banghead:

Hmmm I wonder if they'll make a Mercedes Quilt to match... Or how about a BMW duvet?

:idea:I know what they meant now!💡

Well I'll be dipped, there is such a thing as a BMW Pillow! I wonder how she handles?
