Oh man, the Ford GT is simply gorgeous! AARR!!
 
I hope there is a feature so you can race in the rain on most of the tracks especially leguna seca.

Oh this sucks. I never watch steaming movies as they never work. (all that worked was the sound).

Is it possible for someone to make these vids downloadable? I don't want to download any more programmes just to see some video's.
 
I thought Citti D'aria was great looking, but man, Capri beats it into submission. It took nearly two minutes for the GT to complete the lap, which is great, it means it's a relatively big track. 👍
 
Here's my thing. I wished I've seen a 2-lap demo of Hong Kong that wasn't on a big TV screen. I mean, that's cool to show it off and everything, but I'd rather have a full-screen of the Hong Kong track in action. I think it looks awesome. It's a lot more colorful than the city in (dare I say) Need for Speed: Underground. I still haven't played it, but from a trailer I seen, the city has some lights and stuff, but Hong Kong is going to be a colorful experience. The only city that might beat Hong Kong in terms of lights, lights, and more lights, is if Las Vegas is considered for GT5. You, start a race at the MGM Grand, and go wherever else.

Now on to Amaf... I can't spell that word. But that track reminds me of the fictional city in PS1's "Rage Racer." Going by the coastline, you see little houses overlooking the ocean. It reminds me so much of that. And to me, that track (going back to the (formerly conceived as "Capri")) looks incredible. I think that track could have been saved for a new car test drive or something. But to see yourself racing the track is pretty sweet. With some of the corners, I can imagine it being a rally course as well. Nothing like a tarmac rally, though, right? Now let's hope it's easier than Monte Carlo...
 
Man, that Capri looks sooo good......i never thought this was possible to do on a PS2 (or anything near that) 👍

PS: I don't like the Hong-Kong track very much because of the difficulty of running it without headlights in a lighted room:banghead: :banghead: Something like Laguna Seca in GT3
I have a big-screen tv, that's why the room has to be dark, but my parents are always doing something in the living room, so it must be lighted :banghead: :banghead:

Edit: I was talking about the outer section of the track
 
I love the hong kong track. I thought that vid was a intro, the graphics look amazingly realistic :D:eek:

If you watch the 1st person view of the Ford GT video, you come to realize that GT4 will finally have you thinking " My GOD we are going 140 MPH!" instead of in GT3 "My car is only going 140 mph, this sucks."

Finally a sense of high speed!!!
 
Dont hate code. Right now, nothing looks as realistic as gt4, period. Most impressive game I have seen, no contest.

Can you say the same for the hong kong track. The capri is narrow.
 
Oh come on cobra, theres better looking games, half life 2, far cry, doom 3, halo 2, ninja gaiden, zelda on GC etc etc. As it stands though, gt4 looks gob smacking imo, just not quite as gob smacking as some people like to make out, people who kiss sony/ pd ass just abit too much. cough. This is the ps2 at it's limits, and wow :D certainly very pretty. I'm no hater. I just don't kid my self like some peeps :P
 
You just couldn't resist making that list of games that you think look better :D =P Well I'm big on games looking realistic so I can't help but say gt4 looks the best.
 
Oh, but I'm so right though. :). As realism goes though, GT4 is certainly realistic for a game.

Ive played FF 10 and that looked brilliant from what I saw, a really beautiful style, if a slightly lacking game, ff7 man my self :)

EDIT: Also in the outside view of the GT40 at Amalfi the driving looks so clean but inside view of the replay the GT40 is really twitchy so i hope car physics will be realistic like this in the final version. And when it hits the bump at around 20 seconds in i wonder if front bumpers are going to get ripped off :lol:
 
Man, I compared the vid of the latest build to the gt4p intro, there is a amazing resemblance.:eek: :D :bowdown:

They can't possibly look better, they are only 320 x 240.
