Well, its not an Official concept, its a one made by me.

I just want to say that I like the Cr-z but not in the same way I love the Cr-x, so I took a shot at it. Tell me what you think of it:dopey:

Sorry for large Pics, and Any thoughts on it?

Nice, looks much more aggressive.

I'd shorten the nose, especially near the bottom. Other than that maybe change the rear roofline a bit so it looks less hunchbacked

tl s type wheels. good job with the headlights! they kind look like 7-ish evo headlights. did the front bumper come off a civic? id leave the rear part of the roof a bit higher but it still looks very very good and I would not do anything close to that at all. oh and in the lower pic u forgot to remove the acura logo on the center of the wheel. you should put a honda logo. not very hard to do

I second on the front overhang comment, but yeah, really great job! 👍

If I was a big car boss, you'd be hired.

You've made it look a lot better. Hopefully if they made an SI it would be more than just a facelift though. If that car needs anything its more balls under the hood.

GOOD JOB !! 👍

Definitely what Honda should be working on, instead of releasing stalled ugly cars as its current line-up shows...

Putting all their resources on the green movement isn't going to give enough "green" to support them now. They should make the transition 50/50... 50% of their line-up dedicated to the sportier aspect, and the rest of in Prius-look alike...

But coming back to your work, it looks great!!!

I suggest you hit the car magazine with your project, or even Honda themselves and suggest them. (have them hire you!) they obviously need new blood in their cells, and people more passionate about what Honda have been and should be...
... furthermore, Honda need better designer... their cars are getting uglier and uglier ... (including Acura)

Love the Acura rims :p She's a beaut!

Yep, didnt see that one , and i have to fix that little detail, The front bumper is a design based on a Honda Odyssey bumper.

Thanks a lot, but it just happens im only 17 Years old, they'll have to wait :sly:

Well, When I thought of that concept I imagined of it with a Mugen sport Suspension, No hybrid system to save weight and a 1.8 High revving engine to complete the whole Package:drool:

that was also my inspiration, I dont mind them wanting to colaborate on the planet health by doing green cars, but they have to remember that not everybody loves honda for being green, they have to service their fanbase which is pretty big due to Economic, lightweight sporty cars that actually are green, Yes, they created Vtec for fuel save in mind while also giving engine more power.

Aaaanyways, the actual Cr-z doesnt do and isnt what the Cr-x was, so They need to do an Si Version of it.👍

Now...does it have the K20/6-speed combo?

I think about a 165hp version of the R18 would be better. Otherwise they'd cut into Civic Si sales.

You know, I bet a CR-Z with some sort of performance engine and without the hybrid system wouldn't cost any more than the normal hybrid one.

Anyway, your concept looks pretty good to me.

It'd be dope if the CR-Z looked like that.
If I was in the market for a new brand new car.. I'd be taking a white CR-Z home. On coilovers and wheels. Zero emissions in gridlock, enough power to keep me happy out of it. I really really want one :) Especially one that looks as good as the OPs rendering :)

I don't think they'd ever cut the hybrid system. Thats the whole point behind the car. Hybrid sports. A tuned R18 would be interesting but again I even doubt they'd ditcht he original engine for another series. I wouldn't expect much from honda on this.

I guess everybody here knows Honda wont be doing something as cool as that

I dont see any problem on doing a Sport version without the Hybrid system, people who wants to save gas obviously wont buy the Si Version, simple as that and they will gain lots of customers, the people who want a fuel saver economy cool compact and the honda lovers that want a new sporty vehicle, its a Win/Win situation I guess 👍

Well the whole point of the CRZw as to make a sporty hybrid so they'd have to make the SI version still hybrid. If it were up to me they'd tweak the hybrid system to provide a larger torque boost. That way they could still have the fuel economy and performance without tweaking anything else really. The fact that the stock version only puts out about as much power as a 1992 civic si with similar displacement and the hybrid system is sad.

The fact that it doesnt do Much more Mpg than some normal, not Hybrid cars, and that is way heavier than it should is also Dissapointing.

I like this car, but not enough to call it the modern Crx, hope they improve it for the next year or do an Si version 👍
