I was playing B-spec, Bob as usual gave me some hard times, and something come up to my mind, what if our driver can communicate with us during the race, say something like, "tire has no grip", "The car has no downforce", "I think I can overtake him at turn 4", "they have more top-end than us" stuff like those, that gave us better ideas how to navigate our driver. So we know why he performed so badly, and how to improve his lap time. Now it's all down to wild guesses as when to give what input or not. Just some random thoughts might help improving our B-spec experiences. Opinions?💡

That would make B-Spec fun, like a real director and maybe get attached to B-Spec Bob, so much we can't live a without him :O

Could simplify it to the point where an icon will pop up by his helmet that matches the tuning guide to whatever he thinks he needs to do betterm fantastic idea though. Suspension icon if he needs a new setup, a tire if the tires aren't working, lsd if he can't get the power down, etc. Fantastic idea though nice thinking.

that's another benefit to get interaction from the B-spec AI. Oh, maybe we should have female drivers?

How about a "race plan" for AI? Like, I want him to drive 100% aggressive until he gets to 1st place, then get an advantage of at least 10 seconds, and then he can reduce aggressiveness gradually, and say never lower than 20%. I notice that even if he gets like 10 second advantage after lap 1, by the end of the race, if i dont issue new commands, instead of getting more ahead he barely wins the race with a car that is twice as powerful as his opponents.

That's very true, maybe PD just don't want us to grind up Cr. and EXP. too easily, that's the whole point of GT5. At least they can include some simple interaction from our B-spec drivers. So we can actually feel our Bobs alive with different personalities?
