The second pic is a potoshopped ford gt

The first pic looks like it's trying to be a futuristic Ferrari with that front end. I read about the possibility of this car a few eeks ago, it's intriguing to say the least but I doubt it will look anything like either of theres concept renders. That second one looks more like a photoshopped GR-1 than Ford GT though it might just be the angle of the shot.

The first pic looks awsome; the second one looks like a retarded Lotus Elise.

But I think it's safe to say this car will be blisteringly fast; 700hp and they say it's supposed to be light (hopefully quite lighter than the Enzo, which is pretty heavy as far as supercars go).

I don't like the look of either, I'm with TVR&Ferrari_Fan, the old Muira looks better. But we still don't know what the new Muira will look like.

That second picture just says "Ford GT", the michigan number plate helps.

Somehow they (both shots) remind me of what a Lambo would be if Bungie Software made it. A bit space-shippy (top one) or Warthoggy (bottom one)....

The top image isn't too far from a final design IMO (Some appealing Cien style edgyness there - though it has great big spaceship docking stations in the front!). Of course its not going to look as nice as the original, we can abandon that hope.

Both arartists impressions, neither came from Lamborghini, so I'd say neither were close to the final design. The top one would probably be closer but theres too much Ferrari and Cien going on and not enough Lamborghini in the design.

I actually kind of like the artists' renditions of the Miura. And it's going to be good to have a Lambo competitor to keep Ferrari on its toes.

I love the insectoid fly-eye headlight clusters in the top pic. Its pretty cool, I actually like it a fair bit. Very modern. The bonnet vents are Muira-ey enough. I don't want a too obvious link to the old one, like many other resurrected car names (Mini, New Beetle etc). I don't want it to look half retro, half contemporary. That would just be awkward.

I liked the top one as well. Vents on the hood and the headlamps really do it for me.

I think Lamborghini should hire those people who designed the Muira in there break time for fun. Before it became a real car, and before Lamborghini used the designs from the people who did the design for fun.

It had better sound just as nice as the original. I would say the sound is the best aspect of the 60's supercars (actually, all 60's cars)...

Pah... They don't need a new one! Just get some more power out of the old one!

I'm sorry, It's just physically impossible to compare anything to the Original Miura. This one is just... :yuck:

I'll agree that the best thing about the older Sports cars is the blood curdling sonic booms coming out the tailpipe.

It's called Miura, not Muira, and I'm rather skeptic as for Lambo to make another Miura. The original Miura is a classic car, nothing can really replace it. It's like making another Ferrari Testarossa or another F40.

I cant get over how awesome the top pic looks. I wish there were more pics available. Or information...
... how is it pronounced?

I just realized that it's spelled wrong on the thread title. It's Miura. As far as I know, it's pronounced Me-wu-ra. But I grew up in Japan, so no gurantees. :p

Hiya! :D :O  Meow! (='.'=)

The top pic look really mean! 👍 Looks like Lambo too wants to push out what a "supercar" is compared to sport cars like the Corvette. :O
