New Lancer WRC

Here is a pic of Loix in Mitsubishis first ever WRC which will make its debut in the San Remo Rally.

It looks a lot different and not as mean but I think I will like it when I get used to it. I think it will beat everything when they rally it.

Yeah, you hit the nail on the head.  The rounded headlights really made the difference, and the grill looks rounded.  :conf:

That is one facelift I am not looking forward to...

Seriously though, I heard from someone that the WRC Lancer doesn't actually sit on a Lancer platform, but rather a larger carcut down to fit the shell.

The individual in question trailed off when I named some potential 'donor' models somewhat damaging their credibility, but I was wondering if any of the WRC nuts here knew anything of this.
