New look?

So I get on GTP today and I notice that pretty much everything looks different, especially user profiles.

Was this an intentional change or is something wrong on my end?

Would it have been a Premo's profile page? You get the ability to change what your profile page looks like.

Ok so not the actual profile pages, it was their posts. The avatar isn't centered, the User Title is directly beside the User Names, User Names are hyperlinks, etc.

Yes, I do believe such a thing happens when the page had not loaded completely. Instead of the bold print it was displayed as a link.

Possibly, but the thing is, it's been like it all day so I thought it was a change of layout or something.

Is no one else having this? It might be, as I said, something wrong on my end.

What browser are you using there? Everything looks very different to how it does for me and I assume everyone else. Issue definitely your end.

It's been happening to me off and on for the past couple of days. Try clearing your browser cache and see if that fixes it.

Whatever it was, it's fine now. I reset the modem and let it sit for a minute, so it seems that it was on me. Oh and to answer your question, SimonK, I'm using PS3's web browser. The screenshot was also taken from the PS3, if it makes any difference.

Oh ok, just looks strange. I use the PS3 browser occasionally and the fonts never render like that, must have been a side effect of whatever your issue was.

True, the PS3 browser doesn`t let me open most of the pages. And if it opes, i can surely wait a long time...

Just wanted to point out that the thing described just happened to me at one of the school computers in one of the threads in the GT6 forum. Refreshed and it went back to normal.


Was using Internet Explorer 8 on a Windows 7 Professional 64bit computer.

Yes. Formatting was off, the fonts were different from normal (I didn't compare them directly to the one in the image, though). The only difference I could see is that a couple of avatars had not loaded.

Maybe it's a Internet Explorer problem? PS3 uses Internet Explorer 6, I believe and Toronado's problem occured on Internet Explorer also?

Either way, if it is a loading issue, I don't understand why. Everything loads but just that it looks completely different.

Same here. You can tell if it's bolded/in italics but if they're using a specific font, it makes no difference as all look the same.

I've had this a few times over the last year using Chrome, but each time I'd just refresh or close out/reopen the browser and it'd work just fine. It appears to be a partial load each time.

It acts similar to a page that requires secure and non-secure information to be displayed but you only display the secure content.

Personally, I don't think its a problem to worry about. 👍
