New M5, E55 AMG or CLS55 AMG?

I believe Mercedes in a way. You can see the better quality from other Mercedes in the dashboard.

That's what a believe anyway. :)
 
M5 definatly 205mph derestricted :scared: , it was on fifth gear in the UK on monday, and it looked awsome đź‘Ť, the CLS 55AMG was on top gear on sunday and it seemed impresive (it uses the SLR's brake technology, clarkson said it would hurt less to hit the tree you where braking for because the car stops that quickly, lol) but after seeing the M5 i'd definatly wait. Also on fifth gear it said that if you ordered an M5 now you'd have to wait till mid 2007 so it's got to be good.
 
Mind you even on TopGear they were talking about the drop in quality of Mercedes cars over the last 10 years, but the also mentioned that they're cutting a lrge ammoung of profit to get that quality back again. And also on TopGear they stated that the AMG CLS would be given a more thorough quality check than the standard models. I'm no Mercedes expert, but I've heared the same storey quite a few times.
 
I think they said Mercedes had ÂŁ3,000,000,000 profit per year, but now (they say) they will now cut profits to ÂŁ1,000,000,000 just to improve the quality of their cars.

i am pretty sure that this was one of the usual top gear jokes...
 
blood...if you want F1 type action go for the BMW, it has a V10 and is 7 speed just like F1 cars...but if i were you i would go for the CLS 55, that car looks so nice and it sounds like a hardcore muscle car with those double exhausts at the back and the huge V8 engine infront...besides i aint patient i couldn't wait a year for a car...as for E55...never really caught my eye.
 
Well good news, because the M5 is in such High demand, the dealership asked for a 20 grand down payment, and I guess some didnt pay, so we got bumped up in line and would get it sometime around November - December. Only issue my dad has is that the dealership says his current car is only worth 35 grand Cnd !!! its a 2001 M5 loaded with about 50,000 km on it....that sounds like a total rip off to me! and its not like its in bad condition:
 
That sounds like an INSANE ripoff....hell, if you were nearby, I could probably convice my dad to buy it from you for more than that :P
