Due to the 1.07 patch that limits trading, there will be a flood of unneccesary threads made because people will be adverising that they need a car to borrow or that they have a car available.

A sub-forum in the marketplace that is dedicated to the "borrowing" system would do a number of things:
  1. Reduce "borrow" threads in the marketplace (Because there are still cars to be traded under 1,000,000)
  2. Puts people who want to borrow or have a car available to borrow in a space away from the regular marketplace (for ease of use)
Mainly, it will be a congestion reducer.
This is just a Suggestion, not a Request:gtpflag:

Good idea, Machate. But I think just editing tags would be a bit better. Then you could filter them and ka-blam! you can now see Wanted only. Or Avail only. :dopey:
Than again, there will be people who want to borrow and loan out. So another suggestion (to Jordan :D)... what if we make the tags like in the IRL Trading Place? Like WTP, FS, FL and WTB? (Wanna Buy, For Sale, For Loan & Wanna Borrow).

Yeah, I've never used the game's "borrowing" functionality and I'm not sure how it works yet, but it looks like this is definitely something the forum will need to adapt to handle. I'll take a closer look at the options as the March 3rd deadline approaches.

Now that The Deadline has long gone, and the fact that not many people in the marketplace Don't Know that you can "Borrow" cars, I dont think that a Sub-forum would be such a good idea. Perhaps a stick'ied Thread like The General Trading Thread would be good if the idea actually catches on in GTP'ers minds.

*Remember, it's a Suggestion, not a Request:sly:
