Thing is, I'm not really sure what other publisher would be interested in funding an open world driving game right now with Horizon 6 just around the corner. Even Tencent is starting to get more stingy with tossing money around, from what's being said.

Game sounds a lot further on than I was expecting. They are working on the announcement trailer & getting licensing approved/paid, so maybe a reveal in the next few months depending on what happens with a new publishing deal.
I think it's more Amazon getting out of the gaming business apart from Tomb Raider, which links with their upcoming TV series.It's still very worrisome that their publisher dropped out at this stage of development... Do they feel that there is no business case for this game if it releases after Forza Horizon 6 and within the launch window of GTA 6?
