Thing is, I'm not really sure what other publisher would be interested in funding an open world driving game right now with Horizon 6 just around the corner. Even Tencent is starting to get more stingy with tossing money around, from what's being said.

Horizon is a huge cashcow. I think a huge reason why this project and the one from Lighthouse got greenlit was because they could point to Horizon's success, so in theory, finding a new publisher chasing that Horizon money shouldn't be difficult. It would be tragic if this didn't make it to the finish line, the screenshot looks incredible

Game sounds a lot further on than I was expecting. They are working on the announcement trailer & getting licensing approved/paid, so maybe a reveal in the next few months depending on what happens with a new publishing deal.

It's still very worrisome that their publisher dropped out at this stage of development... Do they feel that there is no business case for this game if it releases after Forza Horizon 6 and within the launch window of GTA 6?

I think it's more Amazon getting out of the gaming business apart from Tomb Raider, which links with their upcoming TV series.

Did you see that BlackPanthaa not only went to Maverick's headquarters, but also played the game? That means the game is now truly playable...

Games starts to be playable even with 2 years left of development, doesn't mean anything, also why they don't show the game then?

Calm down, I'm sorry. I just wanted to bring new information to the topic. And according to the podcast that was already posted here, they are preparing the game's trailer and we will have more information later this year.

Why would they show anything now? Only if they wanted less media coverage. After all, everyone is talking about Forza Horizon 6.
