what in the flying hell would you want a viscous lsd for?

i dont think i want to sign this....seriously. i'd love an S16 but i think it'll be kinda whored out in the US....more than it is becoming today. plus, the petition has errors and crap ;)

VLSD is drift heaven fool!!!! rekognizeeee sideways beeeeehotch lol

plus, the old s14 and s13 SE special edition w/e you wanna call em, came stock with VLSD instead of Open Diff. BS

Bleh, drifting has already becoming the l33t pimp3n thang in the U.S now, I don't want to help that at all.

:odd:

Calling me a postwhore in your post, that only contains 10 characters makes you a postwhore doesn't it?

Meh whatever. If your mad about my reply, you can say so.

You're just mad cuz you can't drift! and ummm... I know you are but what am I!!! *sticks tongue out*

Drifting can be fun, I used to drift alot in my 180sx (RPS13) before the main craze came, But people with the attitude like epic has about drifting has seriously put me off it.

Uh huh sureeee. That's what they all say. If you're not gonna support the silvia and sign this, don't post in here, it's that simple. Thank you.

Love the nissan 240 / Silvia....but take out the truck engine when it comes to Canada this time !

Guys, it's not even worth it. There will be no S16, in NA or otherwise. Nissan has already confirmed that the Silvia replacement will be FF.

Besides, we already have the true new Silvia, the 350Z. It's light, powerful, FR, and costs about what a new Silvia would.

350Z sucks and is ugly. Ummm... Z - SX hmmm yea, no.

The 350z is not 'light' unless you're comparing it to a mercedes benz. There will be no new 'silvia' because there is no market for it.

An FF Silvia is about as sporty as a Celica... bad move Nissan.

as much as i love nissan, i think the s15 gets the job done as the final testament.

Yeah I pretty much agree to that. The S15 looks about as good as the 200SX's would be able to go. Anything further than that would probably look real ugly.

Here's another thing to think about. An new Silvia would cost about $25,000 - $30,000. We all say we'd love one, but how many of us could actually go out and buy one if it was released as an '06 or '07 model?

For that much money, I'd rather get something like a new Dodge SRT-4, or a used G35 coupe for that matter. And by the time '06 and '07 comes, those cars will be even cheaper if buying used.

i dought it would come to north america, the reason why is because of poor crash ratings, in canada the car has to me 15 years old because it is then a classic and does not have to meet the standards for street legal.

Plus why would we want a front wheel drive silvia?

We are counting on you Mr. Nissan. Don’t let us down.

:dunce: That's one of the most pathetic online petitions I've ever seen. I don't even know where to start.

Actually, I do! Nissan bases their production decisions on WHAT WILL MAKE MONEY, not what will please wannabe-drifter fanboys on the internet. America had it's chance to buy S-series cars, and production & sales numbers will show you that less and less were sold every year the 240SX was available here. Overpriced, underpowered, too soon for the drift craze, whatever the reasons are - that's how it went down.
