I've just got back from a week away and it's already dawned on me that if I do the time/drift trials now, I'm only going to get the 110% multiplier, rather than the 200% if I wait until...

...actually, is it still 5 days before you get the full online login benefit?

I dont like that they made the earnings less for these.

So now you still only make 1 million with the 200% bonus.

lame.

I was hoping that since the OCD is full price, they would give us some more money at least.

Heres my tune: current time 1:07.827

aero: F=70, b=90

power limiter: 100%

Thanks again for sharing your settings 👍

Got it down to 1:09.9** something.

I wonder how Indianapolis can be so much fun in the Ferrari F10 and so annoying in the FGT....

In my first successful attempt running the 197HP,
I used the Quattro '82, and came in at 1:14:nnn (don't recall exact time, but that was good enough for the gold... and the 1,000,000

I ran later with the GSX-R/4 Concept '01 (like everyone else...) and clocked 1:07:758
currently placing me at rank 5868

I haven't tried the FGT Trial yet...

If you really need to know you could probably load up GT5 on another account on your PS3 that hasn't done the TT yet and do a really poor job. ;) Let it sit 10 minutes and hope nobody is actually bad enough to beat you for last place.

I usually make a really slow lap when I first enter a TT just to get an idea of how many times are posted before I go for it.

Well I've beaten you PR1VATEJ0KER for the time being. My target was to get under 1 seconds behind the leader and just about managed for now. I know I can maybe find another half a second if I nail it with the current setup. The rest of the time I would require maybe a slightly better setup and more skill.

I can see why Lewis Hamilton did well here, it suits his driving style perfectly.

It's such a challenging track, there is so much to learn about it.
Nice time saidur! I had another go earlier today, did about 4 laps withing .020secs of my best:yuck:, but couldn't beat it.
I've been playing with the tune alot. Have come up with one that seems very stable, but I don't seem to be going faster :dunce: yet !

Glad to help, I'm only learning to tune, and there aren't many who will post their tune so I thought I would share with GTP:tup:

Thanks but it is now over 1 second off the pace . I used your setup with a slight change of brake balance like I mentioned before. I was constantly improving my times by a tenth or two, following a faster ghost and then decided to stop as I got within 1 second of the leader. I guess the current setup is quite good as I'm just over a second off Ti-tech85, so he might have a worse setup and making the extra time with skill for me to be that close without having done many laps.

I suggest the GSX-R/4. I'm never top 10% in the time trials but my first lap was a messy 1:10, with lots of time to be made up everywhere.

Of course I'm too lazy to keep going once I have gold so who knows just how fast it can go.

The FGT TT was also a walk.

Hi all, been a while

Tried the Indi TT for an hour yesterday, lots of fun and so much to learn as well, down to about 1:09.5 something. But It really doesn't lend itself well to DS3 pad players :grumpy:

As for Tsukuba, I don;t have the GSX, so I'm a long, long way off the pace. Can anyone recommend another car that could maybe nearly keep pace 👍

Cheers,
Rhp82amman

I have seen people suggest the Elise powered down to 197, and I originally used the Quattro '82 to get gold. (that was barely modified...)

I'm on the DS3 as well, Gold, XP and Cash is all that matters isn't it, when it comes to TT?

For those that use MGT, or would like to have a sortable list of the new OCD cars, I made one here. The default sort is by Make, but you can sort it by model, year, price, power, etc.

Most of these cars were part of the 0m half price sale from previous OCD updates - and they all still come with the 300km engine break-in 3% power boost.

I used the Elise 111 S (I think that's the right one) it was the standard and was 6 kg above the weight requirement and right at the HP limit with the medium turbo. It was squirely and hard to control but with the right amount of throttle I was able to put up a decent time.

I used the Elise 111R '04 the first time I did this trial. I used the same one that I tuned for the Expert Seasonal. Even with mistakes, the gold is easy. I was running 1:07s pretty consistently with a DS3.

The GSX-R/4 is the top choice though. You can win this car by beating the B-spec FGT Championship.
