New On-Screen indicator. What is it?

I've downloaded V2 and when taking out the F1-10 in practice there's an indicator that shows up on the left of the screen. It looks like a circle with an arrow on it. It goes from red to black and back sometimes with seemingly no reason. It only occurs with the F1. Does anyone have any idea what it is? Please advise. Send me a private message if you can as well.

It is possible that you are seeing the tyre load indicator but until you post a picture we cannot be sure.

True or maybe a malifunction of the tyre load indicator. It might be showing one when there's supposed to be four.
 
I'm quite sure it has to do with the weather condition on the track, how wet it is etc., though I'm not perfectly sure what it's intention is and how you are to make out the information, as I have not played in a while.
 
Never seen anything like what has been described in this thread.

Pretty sure it wouldn't have anything to do with weather.
 
It's not the water percentage or anything if it's changing colour.... I think everyone on GTP wants you to post a picture so we can see so it would be hugely appreciated.
 
Tire load is not what this is.

Tire load are 4 circles with 4 thinner circles that go from small to large depending on load.

Only circle with an arrow I see right now(my PS3 is on) is the one in the center for the time, and if it goes red it means that time won't count.
 
He says it only happens in the F10, obviously it's the newly implemented DRS indicator that PD is fiddling with. :sly:

He might be using the in-car view and the light is hitting something in the cockpit. Can't think of anything in the HUD like what he described.
 
OP, WE NEED TO SEE A PIC!
You know what you`re talking about, we don`t, so need to see it before we can give 100% accurate advice, because everyone`s currently `thinking aloud` & giving you wrong info.
Unless & until you post the pic, so that everyone`s `on the same page`, you wont get an accurate answer.
 
Could he be talking about the mirror when in this view? In the sun light it's red, in the shadows it turns darker. (The red arrows are mine and only to point out the object)

I was thinking about that too,i drove both the Ferrari in different views just to see some sort of indicator but all i saw is the sidemirror.

Nice found by the way 👍 ,if only OP can put a picture..
