Just noticed a new road on Grand Valley...it is after the very first right-hand turn, maybe 10 -12 seconds in. You will see 3 "REDLINE" signs on the right and a road leading up a hill behind a tire wall.

Anyway to get to this road? Probably a stupid question but I just noticed the road this morning

if it's the one im thinking of im sure that has allways been there from all the :gt: games and no i don't think it is possible to get to it ;)

i hate things like that.
there could be something cool up there.
someone should try and GS2 their way up there.

oh, wait - the road (i think) you're talking about is the one that you would take if you were on the Grand Valley East track.

Yep Grand Valley east it is, I wonder if you could GS2 that bit so you could drive through it?
Maybe they still left Grand valley east in the game but but barriers so you cant access them?

that would be so cool a hidden track!

yes that is GV-E, from GT1 and 2, I wish it was in 3 cause it was awsome to go fast over, you fly over that hill at the top of it.

I swear in GT2 you could make codes on the GS so that parts of the track you could drive through?
Can this be done on GT3 as well, because then you might be able to access the short versions of tracks

R5 Clubman, Seattle Short, Rome Short, Grand Valley East?
Has anyone tried this?

but also it would prolly be glitched up there! you might drive through the road and walls up there!! and then thre wont be any road after that cuz the programmers only programed grand vally!

if you want to race up there with oter race cars here is what you need to do!

1.put in a code so that the barrels will go away!
2.make the road hard (so that you wont drive through it!)
3.make the walls hard
4.put in a code so that the A.I will follow the road!
5.put in a code so that you can see the road.
6.make sure you put in a code so you can exit that section.
7.make a code to make up the shape of the added part!(#5)
6.thats about it!

Just noticed these two roads thru Monaco...

I don't think the REDLINE turnoff is a Grand Valley East section turnoff. I remember noticing this road and it didn't look like it could be a portion of that track, it looked too skinny and it went uphill... plus, if you take a look at the map, where it picks off the main track doesn't jive with the shape of East.

I'm not positive, because I haven't checked it out to any extent, but if memory serves me well, that is the case.

Okay, I just put GT in the machine and loaded up GV East and that REDLINE turn certainly is a portion of that track. There's a short turnoff that bypasses the second section of the left/right between the GV hairpins, and the second hairpin, and it splices back in before the tunnel after the second hairpin.

You can access those two roads, since you can break out of Monaco... nothing spectacular, and I haven't paid any attention to where the lead to. ;)

The Grand Valley East section has only been programmed for a short distance. (as far as you can see).

After that, it is just a fake background, and invisible polygons.

And those roads in Monaco are just there, because they exist in real-life. I have driven on all of them, and they are all dead-ends. :(
