When I seen this thread at school, I thought this topic was about a surprising car Honda built for America. But if you ask me, I think it's quite a slick little car. This "Honda Attack" is a pretty nice little thing. I know I made a topic in the past called "Kit Cars" in these forums, so I've heard of some more kit cars.
Let me tell you something, boys and girls. When I first read this, I thought it was a surprising concept from Honda to build an affordable mid-engined car to rival the Toyota MR-S. Hell, if Honda wanted to come up with a mid-engined sportscar, they could bring the Beat to America and beef it up for us horsepower-crazy Americans. But I think if Honda mass-produced something like this machine, the price would be between $20K to $50K. I think to be safe and not sell for higher, it would have to have either a 240hp or 276hp engine. Since it's from Honda, you're going to get a normally-aspirated motor at least. Turbocharging would boost it to something like a Skyline in Japan or importing an R34 (which I heard could cost upwards of $80K USD!).
So let's say the boys in Tochigi, Japan consider this little machine and decide to build it up and sell in Japan and America with the info I've provided. How would this car do? And in terms of concepts we know about, Honda will add an SUT to its family of cars soon with an unconfirmed name, or one I don't know of yet. Carry on, GTPlanet.
