Hi all,

Recently sold my XBox and got a PS3. (Mostly for the great 3D, GT5 looks amazing). Please can someone explain how this all works? Do you just take each others word that someone will send you a car as promised, or do you have some sort of in-game credits you use?

I'd really like a Merc SLS which is $270,000! Am i right in thinking someone can just Gift it to you?

PS... Great community, everyone seems really helpful.

Pretty much --most of the guys on here are straight up chaps. only a few boneheads. You setup a trade(gift) you send -- they send
You can only gift one car per day. Reset is 00GMT or 7:00 pm EST USA

Some High value cars are not giftable --- DLC cars are not giftable
5 paint chips/day
unlimited suits and helmets/day -- except DLC outfits

Send FR to Racin-Rev and I will help you get set up with cars you might want to use.
Your used car dealership adds 6 different cars after each race day(race) and drops the bottom 6

You can go into profile in GT mode and borrow cars that friends have setup in their online garage. You can use those cars in any races where they are allowed.

Run online Seasonals for fast credits and experience upgrades. Run the license test to get familiar with tracks and handling

People love 0/0/0 cars = unused cars that are not purchased in the used car dealership or UCD. Chipotle is a great provider of suits & helmets.. You can add me here too. Was bit of a newb in GT5 online. If you like trading up make a schedule to compensate for the 1 car per day per ps3 policy.

I am new to this too,sort of,I've played gran turismo for a while,but all this online/trading this is all new to me.All these guys seem like a great group of people
