The new Premium Jag XJR9 is not classified as a LMP Car for some reason. I found this out trying to use it at a 10 lapper at Le Mans last night with restrictions set to LMP only. Should it be like this or not, and is the standard Jag allowed through the restriction filter?

It's not an LMP class car. The LMP class was introduced in the 1990s, which as we all know, the XJR-9 didn't participate in. It's a Group C car and raced in a class called C1.

Although I think Group C cars are actually allowed into that as well.

Thing is, if you see the little 'LM' tag on the end of the XJR-9, that's what determines it. It is also the only valid reason why it shows up in the Dream Car Championship.

But it should be classified as one so you can race with it online with cars with a similar high level of performance in my opinion.

It would be stupid of PD to make 2 classes, LMP and group c granted the cars' performances are so similar

the fact that you cant use the xjr-9 in an lmp restriction is simply an oversight, and will be fixed promptly
