I am going to build it with my Fanatec gt3, CSP and a nice adjustable seat.
I´m going for wood, because its cheap and easy to build.

I need a solution for the shifter, because I think he shouldn´t be beside the wheel.

I think 100€ should do the Job just fine. What do you think? I´m tiered of mounting my seat every time I want to play and I don´t have 5000€ for a toy like this.
 
Can't really see 100 € doing the job, it'll hardly cover the cost for some decent wood. Mate of mine is a carpenter, even if he would only charge me the material (small parts, wood, paint) it's more in the 250 € region plus tax without labour or machinery.

But do prove me wrong ;)
 
It can definitely be down if you really use cheaper materials. If you don't use much cosmetic design for it, I think you can stick with your budget. I don't know how much wood cost over there, but over here I think I can build that with 100-150 USD. Ofcourse, I would have to use cheaper type of wood and with careful planning so I don't waste any wood. Buy in bulk and use all of it. If you have enough tools for the job, that is a plus. Probably the most expensive part of the table are the sliders and such. So you really need to search the internet for cheap prices or go to the yard and look for scraps.

I would only need the wood because I have quite good equipment. The main Problem is that my seat is to big. Its a original car seat that seems to be bigger than the ?shell? seats. That would mean I have to spend 80€ for a new seat :(

Best option would be a playseat, because you can fold it! That would make thing very easy. But I like my seat and don´t want to spend so much for a new one.

That's not a problem at all. Just adjust the measurements for your liking. It shouldn't be too hard to make new measurements.
 
My problem is, that the table would be much to high for the couch. It would look strange. In the Tabe mode it would be 70 cm(2,3 feed?) high. Thats to big.
 
I built my own rig from timber and mdf half inch boards. With screws paint, some tools and a bucket seat right out of a subaru imprezza the whole rig came to £160. Its not massive but also not compact lol but it works great with the t500rs and looks the part. You need to plan and source your materials before you even touch a piece of timber. Draw out a plan take measurements etc and take your time. I believe mine is far more sturdy than any of the ones i've seen for sale over the net........Happy building
