New PSN account or use PS3 PSN account?

I just got a PSP-3000 so I can play Gran Turismo. Can I use my PS3 PSN account on the PSP. If I can is that the best thing to do, or should I create its own PSN account?

I used my existing PS3 account. I saw no reason to create another.
