We got this little guy yesterday (Valentine's Day) from a friend. We have no idea what mix of dogs he is, but we love him to death. We're having trouble figuring out a name for him so maybe you guys and gals could help me out here.

name him "Edge", like the tatoo on that girls' fingers. Or name him "knobby". everyone laughs when they see a puppy named knobby. Or knobs.

Who, Knobby the House Elf from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets? That character was pathetic and annoying!

edit: Oh wait, he was named "Dobby" wasn't he?

Either way, you might as well name him Jar-Jar then.

Puppies are soo dang cute!!! We just recently had the opportunity to get several for free but I kept saying no and believe me it wasnt easy. They are just so much responsiblity and it wouldnt be fair to a puppy if I was at work all day.
Anyway, how about "DIP" or "Chocolate" since it looks like hes been dipped into just about any flavor chocolate. White chocolate, milk chocloate, and dark chocolate. Hmm lots of food topics in here today and chocolate was one of them.

There is "Hershey" - He does have that chocolate mix thing going on.
or Pochie (the Korean pronounciation of the word "dog")
Or "Lefty"
Or "Frank"
Or "Murray"
Simply because they are all cool names for a dog.

I'm a cat guy (who wanted to name our big one Tractor) - But that's one cute puppie !...

If I get a dog, I plan to call it "Dave". Or maybe "Gerald".

I think Ace would be fitting. That's what I was going to name my dog, but Scooter seemed more fitting.

looks like australian shepard mixed with something else. lab, perhaps? it might even be a austrailian shepard mixed with a dalmation. the only reason i'd thing it would be a dalmation is because of the scattered spots on the nose. speaking of which, it looks like the black of his nose missed its target. <_< lol. but yeah, i really doubt its dalmationism...the spots on the back are way too solid and grouped. austrailians have some scattered spots and have the big solid spots too....so whatever. all i know is (obviously) one part of the mix has a short coat.

your dog looks more like a rabbit or something right now. lol. it's hard to tell what he is....and if you could get a pic of his tail and him standing up, then that'd be cool too.

my uncle just got a new dog too....it's a lab mixed with what we think is a chao. we really aren't sure, just as you aren't. i'll try and get pics of it sooner or later.

this is my uncle's lab (youngest besides the new puppy:

this is my aunt's sister's lab/daschound mix: (i killed that spelling. mid-age.)

this is my uncle's dalmation: (oldest, farts something FIERCE.)

and finally, this is my dog. he's a yorkie:

sorry for kinda hijacking your thread, riplox. lol.

you could call him likes....patches, romeo, mercucio (because he's rambunctious i think Cucio would be a cool nickname thing.)

White chocolate, milk chocloate, and dark chocolate
tabs
Those are stripper names!
Those weren't even the names I was talking about using. Where was your mind. Here are the names I mentioned in my original post:
1. "Dip"
2. "Chocolate"
I thought of some more names over the night:
3. Dingleberry
4. Cocoa
5. Reeses
6. Oreo
7. Smudge
8. Sharted

CAMAROBOY69, I almost sharted myself when I read you had suggested it for a dog's name. What would make it so funny is that most people wouldn't know what the hell a shart is. But could you really call such a cute animal that day in and day out?

What about Skidmark?

Also, Omnis: It's spelled Mercutio, with a t. The character from Romeo & Juliet, correct?

Anderton Prime

SHARTED
 Yeah I snuck that one in there to see if anyone was paying attention. Nice catch. I belive thats from "Along Came Polly" for those who didnt already know.

Well, my mom suggested Beowulf and I kinda like it. If you call him Bo, for short, it's like "bo" as in bovine which he resembles.
