i love the replay views but id love to be able to have a free roaming camera to play with in the replays as the race is being shown. id really like to be able to zoom all the way out and see the entire track as the cars are racing. this would have a huge feel to it and let you see just how big the track really is.

anyone else???

That would be cool. I've always wanted a nice chase cam during replays, not just those stationary ones that follow the cars. A replay editor where you could change cameras, speed, lens effects, etc on a timeline too. What ever happened to PD's YouTube replay upload feature?

Before launch, PD mentioned that they wanted a feature that would let you watch races from various portions of the track, as well as several views from each car.

I assume this feature was too big, too difficult, or wasn't able to be run properly before release, hence it got scrapped.

Hopefully it'll get picked up for GT6, but until then, you should definitely put this in the Feedback section. If PD is gonna come here for ideas or inspiration, that's where they'll look.

This would probably be problematic for technical reasons. Video games and their content are designed to be viewed in specific ways, and tracks in racing games are typically built around those specifications. The graphic artists know how the player may possibly view these locations and so they are designed for those perspectives. Consequently, there are things that aren't intended to be viewed by the player, so those bits tend to be either crudely rendered or overlooked entirely. Viewing such areas would then be a problem if we suddenly were given the option to do so.

"Coolest" views in my opinion are the ones just before you click the green flag in a race, especially the bird-eye view and the other one, that seems to be a bit farther from the track, don't know how to explain it, just start an event and watch the different views without starting the race.

Those are the views I'd like them to add.

I liked the way GT3 replays were done and im sure the features that were not put in the game are going to be in spec 3 update.
