the first bunch of those doesnt even look like gt4 but the rest are awesome...good find

First few pictures look CG'ed to me, especially the Alpine.

That red roadster's an Honda S600(or 800) before anyone asks.

I think it could be the real deal. I play my games using a device called the "XRGB-2 Plus". It allows you to play games on a vga monitor. Gt4 Prologue looks amazing on a vga monitor. A tv can't come close. Anyway if your interested you can do a search on the internet and find out more info. After you see GT4 Prologue running on a VGA monitor, you'll will definately appreaciate PD for all there work, the best way to describe want you'll see using the XRGB-2 plus, is...those high-res screen shots you see on the net.

None of that is cg, all those pics came from replays of the new build of gt4. Notice the speed blur in the pics? That's why jaggies are hardly seen.

Holy cow! That's impressive, sUn! With the lights on and the sun barely out, I can probably tell that's New York. It would be cool if the New York race can be done in the dark. I'm not saying to black out NYC like just last year or back in 1965 (or so I heard), but I mean, GT Race, 9:00 PM. I mean, the city that never sleeps, and neither does GT racing. I think I was first exposed to NYC from a weird source. When I was about 9 or 10 years old, I remember playing "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: The Manhattan Project" for the NES. My favorite level was level... 7 or 8. One of them has you going up an elevator on top of a certain building, and beating the daylights out of the Foot Clan. Since then, I've grown a love of NYC, and I still think it is a beautiful city no matter what happened between 1992 and now. I'll be more than happy to race the streets of NYC for GT4. I illegally raced there with the first Midnight Club, so the GT experience will be a welcome experience.

And to get back to sUn's post with that picture, I wonder if that's a thing to come if (and I mean a BIG if,) Gran Turismo happens to have a special PC version. Of course, I don't think my computer will handle it, and I hope it won't require the same thing as what Unreal II requires (look online for system requirements, and you'll see what I mean). I know it won't happen, but if it were on PC, that's a LITTLE idea about what it would look like.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to continue test driving this Lancia Delta rally car in GT3 on Midfield. Ugly car, but handles beautifully. See you around.

Correction. That RX-8 pic was Hong Kong, not New York. You know, some people say that Hong Kong is the "New York of the Far East." Anyhow, my correction. I couldn't tell if that was NYC or not (even I make a mistake like that at times).

Thats one of my favorite pics...

That RX-8 look's really good, but for some reason, those graphics don't look as good as PD claimed they would be. We'll atleast the car part.

 Very impressive indeed! :O

Looks reallly good! :p

The cars look as good as pd claim imo. Just look at the new vids, enough said.

OK, even though I wasn't going to click on any more GT4 pics, but I had to after reading your guys reactions. Wow. The PD team must be in the process of polishing up what is left of GT4. Those shots looked great.

Yeah, but some of the pics look a lot look better than others, the graphics are the same as GT4:P still, but thats what I'm expecting.

Look at this one, theres no way thats how it will look, thats overuse of the blur effect there. If it is in game then I'm guessing it would be from a special replay option like the music replays in GT3 with added and exagerated effects.

 Think blurring was a tad overused there.

Nice pics nonetheless, although I doubt we'll see AA in the final game which can be seen in those pics ;)

Still on a TV you wouldn't really notice much of a difference anyway. Oh and before you get too excitited about motion blurring, just remember theres pics of GT3 floating around with motion blur from the intro I think.

that's true indeed, we just have to wait until the final product is in stores...... , let's hope it's worth it.

The cars in those screenies are gob smacking, back grounds are still abit low poly, and killed by naff textures, but HOLY COW, those cars are fricking sweet! *swoon*

:D :D :D

me wants GT4 :(

Well hopefully the longer its delayed (as it already is) the more amazing it will be when it comes out :O

Judging from the vids, that gt4 build has improved from gt4p, things look alot smoother and the blur gives the game a sense of speed. GT4p's graphics have been outclassed by this gt4 build.

They look the same, the only thing different are the vids of Hong Kong and Capri and thats only because the tracks wern't in GT4:P. Nice tracks though, especially Capri which looks better than Citta imo.

cant view any of gamespots pics!
anyone any ideas?

Idk live, everything looks alot smoother. I know the blur isn't making it look smoother lol. But things look alot more polished.

There are fewer noticablejaggies, but also you have to remeber that thoes pics arn't a large as your TV screen might be, and the fact that on a TV screen the jaggies suddenley come back with a vengance. Some GT3 pics looked as smooth as these, btu anyway as with most things, time will tell :) .

thanks live4speed

ps whats that old red honda?

nice Bimmer at capri

I'm not judging on the pics live, I'm judging on the vids I saw. Everything just looks right, tone and polished, you know what I mean live? I'm sure you saw the vids.

S600 or S800, depends on the engine in it I think.
