Anyway, a little disappointed to see another A-spec rehash, especially since PD added the Honda Civic and Expert seasonals, which were actually original. But new OCD is nice. :)

OMG, the Caterham on Mt Aso, all makes sense now, what a fantastically fun race. 👍
 
I'll definitely have fun doing these tomorrow. I just hope the paint chips include chrome and matte paints.
 
Looks like you only get the paint if you finish second. You don't seem to get all prize options. Oh well.

Thanks to all those who helped with tuning the elise for the expert challenge. Using the elise on this event is sweet. I hated driving this car before it was properly tuned. What a difference it makes.

Huh, I guess it's because the prizes are not of the "win only once" variety, like the prizes for the expert race, time trials and drift trials.
 
Mt Aso shows only 18,600 credits for 5th...missing the 0 on the end. I took fifth to see what I got and guess what... 18,600 credits. Guess I should have settled for 6th with 184,200 cr.

Denso supra is sex on wheels. Did some grinding last night to pick it up in the used car lot. Not disappointed that it showed up in the OCD today. Might pick up another to put online for friends. Wedsport celica is awesome too. Totally recommend it. :)
 
Took a stock 111R Elise with race hards out for these and had a blast. I'm not an Elise fan because of their usual tail-happiness (hence the RHs, to make the car somewhat more manageable for my style). But said tendency fits the bill for Monoco and London, and is helpful on the Nurburgring. I now get why the SPEED commentators for this year's F1 race at Monoco were saying over and over that teams set their cars up on that track to have much more oversteer than normal. Making things even more fun, the AI in these seems to have a pulse. And it makes mistakes, which is both good (when you can capitalize on their offs) and bad (when the offs occur in blind or tight corners where there's no time or room to react).

Oh, and the OCD has bargain prices on JGTC standards. Having Cr17M stashed is going to come in handy.

btt: great. finally a repeatable nordschleife event. even if there´s little option which car to take, it´s still nice to see the track in the seasonals (je je, i know it was there before, but with nascar......)

tomorrow is holiday, so i´ll drive about 30 laps tonight 👍
