So what are you guys gonna drive in the new seasonal? Also... the impreza touring car was so-so in GT4, anyone driven it in GT5? Its in the OCD now... tempting.

I hope next time trail will involve a crappy car (low hp & old) I guess it takes one to appreciate one -LOL-

The n.ring is so narrow, i'm of the track half of the time. It would be nice if atleast the ghost car -of a dq. lap- was still around, thatway it would be easyer to learn from the mistake i make in that ruined lap.
I also wouldn't mind having a little more time for the next time trail.
Greetings stano(too late for work*)666 *=thanks PD

4 new threads opened almost simultaneously just for this.

Anyway, a little disappointed to see another A-spec rehash, especially since PD added the Honda Civic and Expert seasonals, which were actually original. But new OCD is nice. :)
Disappointed ... Nurburgring Time Trial ... seriously?

My disc has an invisible scratch that doesn't load nurburgring nordscheliefe nor the 24Hr track :(

Yay! But I hate B-Spec as you're not in control.

the car isn't worth buying in my opinion unless you like collecting, it's a terrible drive. But the noise is superb.

Time trials:

Nurburgring - 394hp or less 1000kg or more - racing hard or less
1,000,000cr

Super speedway - 690hp or less 1200kg or more - Production car - sports hard or less
1,000,000cr

Drift trials:

Cape ring north
1,000,000cr

Laguna Seca
1,000,000cr

The events only show 500,000cr each for me.

Anyone know what paints I can get from the seasonals? Any mattes or chromes?

Not really impressed with the OCD. :-(

I like this event. Finally I can drive the Nürburgring in a decent car and get a nice amount of money and XP for it. :)

Tomorrow also starts the real life race event "24h Nürburgring Nordschleife" (23.6.2011 - 26.6.2011)

Those new seasonals are very nice!

Tsukuba, again!!!!

Loving these new seasonals (haven't tried the new TT's) as much as the last, if not more! Finely have a reason to pull out my VX200 I got a couple weeks ago, man that thing is awesome through corners. It holds slides with ease, though it is a fine line... it'll suddenly snap you around if you half-ass the approach. Nonetheless when done right you can fog the track all while gaining great speed off the corner. Great acceleration on this thing too 👍

And despite being fully upgraded - but on factory settings & low turbo - its not a runaway. My lead at the flag depends on the track... London for example I won by a mere half-second whilst Tsukuba/Azur were around 5 seconds. Naturally the narrow streets of London make for a closer but generally more excitable race. Yes, if I drove in a normal racey mode I would come out way faster, but I'm quite enjoying this tomfoolery.

Great to finally have a Nordschleife TT!

Did these events this morning using a Caterham Fireblade. Tune the car to 236bhp, racing transmission and then add ballast to get the PP back down (worked out something like 190kg towards the front). Amazing fun!

The Monaco race was great fun, nice to see that track actually being used.

Is the restriction purely British up to 550pp and under 1200kg? If so, has anyone tried a Cooper 1.3i '98, Triumph Spitfire or Mini Marcos '70 yet? (I'm at work - dammit!)

McLaren F1 at 1200kg, 383hp is a blast tho its a bit overkill....

Tsukuba, again!!!!

👎 Never was a fan, in all my years of Gran Turismos. It's one of the tracks that I found a real struggle until I got a wheel.

Anyways, finally time to give the G4 some tweaks and a good thrashing :). I expect Elises and Vauxhall VX200s are the ones to beat?

Oh yeah that's a good idea, I enjoyed my G4 when I was ragging it around Trial Mountain for that TT.

Not really impressed with the new OCD offerings. They're mostly rally cars, which I don't care for. I suppose I'll buy a third FGT and go from there..

Missed out the sweet LMP's.

Did the last OCD prepare us for British Lightweight? No, so what makes you think that?

I love that there's a Nurburgring TT! It was too easy to get gold though I wanted more of a challenge.

Time to use slow ass cars :p

Ahhhhh why no 905 peugeot !!
i was waiting for it for ages
& i hope every week they do these stuff , triple payout & half price

Lots are naturally available in premium form.

Everyone loves the elise, even Kaz.

The events only show 500,000cr each for me.

The million includes 1st, 2nd and 3rd places

500k for 1st
350k for 2nd
150k for 3rd

Going to be doing this as soon as I get home tonight. Anyone got a good tune for a Caterham?

Heh, I took the MP4-12C with about 450 HP on the track, really fun to break it in for 400k :P
