damn, the Nurburgring race is hard as 🤬 :ouch: I'm using a Chevy Corvette ZR1 RM, the best I could do is +12.xxx seconds behind the McLaren F1 GTR.., hate that car when it shows up, very hard to catch up to..,

to anyone here who has won the race, any help would be appreciated 👍 :)

I tried it with the Skyline TC thing is instead of a McLaren F1 GTR it was
that cursed Zonda LM Race Car T.T I came in second but you can change
opponents by entering and exiting the race over and over

Same lame format of the last A-Spec events... not impressed... but I guess it's better than nothing... :ouch:

I'll give it a go tomorrow... :sly:

If you're talking about the R35 TC, well yeah it's a good choice. Very stable around the 'Ring because of its AWD layout. I fear the McLaren more because it's faster and lighter :ouch: well, I have that R35 TC, a nerfed Mercedes CLK-LM, Pagani Zonda R, and some nerfed LMP1 cars (BMW V12 LMR and Pescarolo Courage Judd GV5) and the Chaparral 2J. which one would be a good car?

the answer is, and always has been the 2J. Until further notice, 2J for ALL 650pp events. I have never come close to losing with the 2J in any 650pp event, not even with a 10 race level 17 bob in bspec with top speed mistakenly set too low, it's that good.

The Nurburgring race should be fun, I just hope PD starts getting a bit more creative with the seasonals.

I'll be trying the 'ring in the '66 jaguar methinks. I used to haunt the 550 pp british lightweight event so this is excellent news :)

I just won with the R35 TC.

what's your finish time?

well I managed to nail the race. Wasn't easy though, I kept restarting because all of the AI cars kept blocking the racing line :banghead:  I used my BMW V12 LMR and finished the race in under 6:32.xxx .., not looking good though, the McLaren F1 GTR had a finish time of 6:27.xxx :ouch::ouch:

I think only after every lvl ticket (1-24) is released we might see better events. Not sure though. 10/11/14/16 are all that remain. I guess a lvl 0 is possible too. So ten weeks more of these events minimum. Too bad europe/us didn't get that tesla roadster race at route x that japan got. looked like fun.

R8 lms for nurb. First try, I was surprised.

I miss the old seasonals, these new ones are so generic.

Agreed. F1 seasonal events please!

Yes please PD, we'd like an F1 seasonal with 5 long (20 laps or so) races and a points championship just like the a-spec version but with more prize money.

Thanks in advance Kaz 👍

oh god, finally beat that McLaren F1 GTR!! :sly::sly::sly: I used my BMW V12 LMR and got a finish time of 6:27.xxx. But dang, if there's one thing this race has taught me, it's that the 'Ring is truly unforgiving. I've spun off quite a couple of times and I was like "🤬 🤬 🤬!!":lol: whew, glad that's over. :D

the Cr.500,000 prize money (Cr.1M if you have the login bonus maxed out) is very tempting, but damn the race, in turn, is very stressing. All in all, worth it. 👍👍

I used the R34 TC its a REALLY good car when used on the 650pp events.
I use it all time aginst those 2 cursed cars and i came in 3rd -.-

But i might go with the R35 TC cause i never used it on any 650pp events.

On the 650PP event, has anybody else come screaming out of the last chicane only to be reminded you're on the Nordschleife, not the 24H layout? That last right-hander came all too quick for me...

I could hear the complaining a mile away- "oh, great... another Seasonal with Tsukuba." Hell, I'm thinking "oh, great... another Seasonal with the Nürburgring Nordschleife." Here's my report:

* 400PP at Tsukuba - the premium Mazda RX-7 on Racing Hards... easy win.

* 500PP at Cape Ring Outside - my tuned Nissan 370Z was used. Not as easy, but still managed to take down the leading NSX Type-R.

* 650PP at Nürburgring Nordschleife - I'm forced to race this 12.9-mile nightmare in very fast cars (because I'd stand NO chance winning in a slower car here). All I could manage was 2nd. Closest margin I ever got to the leader at any time was about... maybe 14 seconds back. Of course, the damned leader of the 650PP races has a half-track advantage anyways (or what seems like half-track). The Nürburgring Nordschleife is one of my least-favorite tracks to race, and I'm sorry if this doesn't make me popular saying this. I've been terrible at this track even in GT4. So I basically just settled for 2nd here.

I guess my "record" would be 2-2 in my runs tonight. Or 2-(more than 7) as far as having to restart several times at the 650PP event.

Event I: Used my old 400pp workhorse, Premium EK9 on sports softs, could've used sports hards to make it interesting.

Event II: Used bone stock, slightly power restricted premium Corvette C5 Z06 on sports softs. Not so easy but more entertaining than the first race.

Event III: Mazda RX-7 TC, 'nuff said. Blitzed everything. This car just loves Nurb.

I'll run through it, but after having had so many of these lately it will most likely feel more like a chore than fun.

What about coming up with something semi-original for once? Like a small championship or a REALLY hard race (with standing start) where you even have to go through a tough qualifier to enter.

It's not hard coming up with ideas.

Acura Accord Euro gave a nice contest on Sports Hards at Tsukuba, taking first over the MX5 through the hairpin on Lap 5. The Acura NSX-R made light work of the Cape, and I posted a 2nd at the 'Ring in the Hoover. Having trouble getting past the moving road blocks which have a tendency to send you spinning sideways into the barriers at the slightest touch. Once I get the hang of controlled speed I should be able to grab top spot, it's a hair raising ride this one, plenty of jangled nerves for those of us mere mortals. It's getting used to not having to rush it.
