I feel your frustration. I also was in first, and the car pitted for no reason on lap 9, it gave no warning that it was about to pit till it turned into the pit lane. Naturally I immediately quit the race. No further attempt will be made at it by me. 👎

pit stop not compulsory and i just managed to win by staying on racing hards.... everyone else stopped including a traffic jam into the pit.....:sly:

I just told Bob to skip the pits every time he wanted to pit at the start of a new lap. No problems whatsoever.

I started the race with Intermediate tires. It was a somewhat close race, as the Bob finished the race with tires well below the 50% threshold and the guy right after him was with shiny new tires, but I managed to win, anyways =D

It will give you a warning. If you start the race on race hards, at the start of every lap, the pit icon will show up next to your driver's strength levels. On race hards you will have to give the cancel pit stop command on every lap. If you start on Rain Intermediate like all of the other cars in the race, it won't do an automatic pit until laps 7, 8 and 9.

I has started with Intermediates, pushing bob hard at first 2 laps, by the end of lap 4 the rain starts again so you can push again...
Was first at lap 6, has pitted again at the end of lap 7 seeking for racing hards, one lap taking it easy, and then push until the end.

The pit stop is not mandatory. Just start on intermediates, and cancel the pit stop when it pops up late in the race. The rest of the filed will go in for race tires, and you'll cruise to an easy victory on your intermediates.

driver just hit level 33
xanavi nismo z 06
started on intermediate
pitted when the surface water level hit with 30% (around lap 5ish)
other driver's pitted and i fought with gtr for last 2 laps

finished in 1st place by .209 seconds

Start on Inta's. Do the pit about lap 7 (i think) for racing hards after the rain.
Easy win. Won in 26m 58s.155. Won by 26seconds.

Honda ARTA NSX - Max DF.
Easy.

takata nsx, started with racing hards and kept them during the whole race, but i had to let bob cool down quite a bit during rain.

EDIT: Takata '03 and Bob lvl 28 I might add.

First time he stayed on RH and didn't like the rain too much. Then I started the race on inters, he liked those much better. I allowed him to pit on lap 8/9. So did the rest of them.

Yellow Hat GTR was my car and 2nd place AI car.

Raybrig nsx starting with inters and praiano's nsx tune. Never pitted and won by over half a lap

With the Nomad Lambo.

Start on intermediates, pit in lap 7 or 8 for Race hard.
Easy win.

Remember: You don't have to be first in Lap 4 ;)

Woodone Supra '03 stock tune with 32/36 aero.

Started on intermediates. Pushed BOB through the pack (use overtake a lot, my BOB ran the opposition into the gravel all the time )
Pitted for a new set of intermediates on lap 5 after taking the lead.
Came out 9th and started working through the field.
By the end of lap 7 when everyone pitted i was 4th and took a lead of 25+ seconds.
Easy peasy

+1 👍

Wow! So much money for one race. Looks like I'll be B-spec'n for awhile. 5 races for a cool 20 mil!

Takes about 20 min & Bob can do it with minimum or no help from me. Enjoy the big money while it last! Time to pick up some of those super expensive cars I've been wanting...

Honda TAKATA Dome NSX stock other than turbo & engine reduced a bit. Most races he is in first by the 3rd lap. Will be experimenting with other cars this week.

How Do you cancel the pitting? (don't Bspec much).
I was 1st by lap 7, bob pitted and retained the lead. He then automatically pitted every lap after that and I ended up 10th :(
I have no pit strategy selected, is this a glitch?

Edit Found it - staring me right in the face :) now to win this thang.

I found something interesting... I waited at the menu for the race till the surface meter went to 0. I started the race. Surface meter went back to 30% but he whole field including my car was on race hards. The cars all pitted to get race inter's at the end of the first lap. Shot up from last to 3rd.

what tires did you use after the pitstop?
all the cars are pitting so if your first you should stay first, unless you take the wrong tires.

any way you can cancel the pit stop with the most right command.
When the drivers applies he wants to pit (yellow icon) you can cancel in

I used the Lambo on intermediates and pushed Bob hard on the straights. Finished in 1st place without pitting and the tires had 20% left on them. You don't have to pit.

I used the Epson NSX stock. My Bobs were level 31-32.

I started on Intermediate tyres and hit the front on lap 4 with each of the three drivers I used one after the other.

I then pitted when the AI wanted to on lap 8 and changed to Hard race tyres.

Each driver I used won the event by 25-35+ seconds.

Easy.

Got 1st with the xanavi. good advice, cheers :)

I'm not entirely sure why Bob (or any of the AI drivers) wants to come in on lap 7 anyway. As soon as he switches to the RH tires, he seems an awful lot more finicky (and even slides off the track outright in some corners) and he doesn't go any faster. In fact, when I did it with the Mobil One NSX, the fastest lap was on Lap 9, after everyone else came in and I forced Bob to stay out.

They want to switch to racing hards, because the racing line gets dry, but they get off that line pretty often and so they lose grip in the wet and slide. But the inters wear off really fast on that dry racing line, so thats the downside.

Hey guys, I've got the Xanavi Nismo GTR in my online sharing if you want to use it for Spa. It wins Spa every time, no pitting needed. It is setup to 600 points perfectly, you just need to ensure you run Intermediate tyres from the start. Add 'orangeco' to your PSN and you can use it.

Hi gt5 racer's, I just won, Online B GT500 race - car used Nissan Motul Autech, Tires used intermediate all the way to the finish. I jump to 1st on the 6th lap on the 8th lap car pitted
with the rest of the cars and came out 1st I still used intermediate tires. I ran this race 4 times to build my account back up.

Going back to hard tires is a little slippery at the 8th lap.
I did do a race with out pitting and won but the cars started catching up at the end rear tires intermediate was almost gone.

My setup, Gearing - stop speed 209mph, bottom top speed 205, final gear 205, Suspension - Ride h -8/-4, springs r 16.7/15.5, dampers ext 6/8, dampers comp 6/8, Roll bar 6/6., camber 1.0/ 1.0 toe .05 / 0.10,.

My bob also take out few other cars to.
