They "owe" us a lot if you ask me. GT5 was a disgrace to the gt series and I am very disappointed with it, especially taking so many years to "develop" it. With the game being so short and easy, minus they long, boring, pointless endurance races, they should not only give us as many seasonal events as they can, they should also add many more races to the game itself. It took me forever to beat the old gts but when I bought gt5 i was done in a week. Boo PD! I miss gt2 and gt4, now those were classics.

Y'know, I'd not have been disappointed if they hadn't deliberately raised expectations. When you put out a news release essentially saying that "moving forward, Seasonal Events will be updated weekly at the following times", with a list of specific times, and the added caveat that ANY deviation from said schedule will be "+/- 1 calendar day", then it DOES tend to make people think you're setting an actual schedule.

It's not the end of the world; in fact, it's pretty much standard operating procedure for SCEA/PD. Announce a "firm" date, and then miss it. I suppose what's really surprising is that anyone is surprised by this!
 
I don`t care for XP at all. My A-spec and B-spec level became pointless. I was allowed to drive every car and do every event since lvl 24 (25?). Personally I don`t give a ... for enduro and x1.
The seasonal events were the only thing which keept me going besides online races (they f up alot) and collecting cars (expsensive).

At the end I want something new to achieve, a task more than money or xp.

The justification for lvl 25-40 are 9 enduros and x1...

...they better introduce something BIIIIIG soon, or Shift 2 will replace GT5 damn sure.

So whats the point to get to Lv.40?? What´s the point to collect XP? Total useless what PD did with the single-player in GT5...
 
it's funny to read how everybody is getting totally F'd up about no new seasonals, how bad the a-spec is and how awfull the xp system is, too bad everybody needs to blame and pd and well everybody and everything for that matter.

thrust me i understand cause i really reaallyyyy was looking forward to this game, and yeah of course it's not the best but,, EVERYBODY kept whining about when will it come, it's taking too long, maybe if everybody just shut the hell up , and gave them another they could have created a better game, but everybody kept pressuring those guys, it does'nt matter anymore, but i needed it of my chest.

just wait for next thursday and (most likely) the events will be online and with a bit of luck we'll hear more about the GT drivers club...

and if not well , i guess i'll prestige with blacks ops a couple of times :P

Seems silly to worry about it until it either happens or doesn't. ;)
 
I'm not holding out much hope but I'm going to stay up til 4am anyway, it's only an hour and a half. And I stay up that late most nights anyway. I would quite like some new races to do, though...

i dont mind when they come out. i am very appreciative of everything. i wouldnt mind some nice teases from Kaz on twitter though about what each one might be. like "DIRT" or "WHITE" etc...

EDIT: On first look, I don't think any of the races gives you credits.. Interestingly, there's a challenge for the ferrari F1 cars.
