yeah.. as the topic, juz wondering if there will be a new set of wheels or an update of new wheels?

I recall an early article where Mr. Yamauchi was saying we'd see more wheel choices.

Of course there will be more rims/wheels, what do you think PD will just reuse the ones from GT3 again. Hopefully they will include a wider range of different wheels so you have more of a choice because I when slecting rims in GT3 I never really found any that looked good.

The ones from GT3 are the same ones from GT2. So i'd guess with the extra time after finishing GT4 proloque version 1 (GT3) they can add some new ones.

It'd be cool if you could up the diameter of the wheels too.
That comment almost made me sound like a ricer. :D

lets hope they have some deep dish rims (Eg Work VS-KF)

Yes, there will be new wheels in GT4.

Yamauchi said ther will be more wheel choices, including "classic" wheels as well as new wheel designs.

One cool thing about the wheels, he said they will affect your cars handling this time around. Wheels will have less, or more rotating mass, and this will make your car handle better or worse. Cool idea.

:yuck: Even MORE stuff to consider when tuning your car... :D

kool! I would like to see some old-skool rims, haha.
I also hope that we can choose the rim size this time... cuz some car in GT3 has very small wheel even after u changed it. (eg. Alfa Romeo 156 and Mitsubishi Evo IV)

will be nice to see the car at multiple angles while choosing wheels. it's hard to tell just how much it'll shine or if it's just white (so sue me...i got bad eyes). also, that would just be friggin cool :p

RIGHT! talk abt that, I recall watching a video and there's a shot where u see a blue 350Z rotating on the grass. I think that would be the place to look at ur car in 360 degrees, awesome!!!

If you have an Xport/Gameshark, you can change the size of a car's wheel's/rim's in a couple of second's on GT3. Something the game should of let you do in the first place.

it would be good if you could choose not only wheel diameter, but width too, so you could put 20" diameter, 10" wide wheels on the back of your (RWD) car, and 19" diameter, 8" wide at the front.

Yes, cars like the S2000 and Toyota Supra would look better with 17 and 18 in wheels instead of 16 and 17 stock.

yeah, juz hope that GT4 we also allow us to change the radius, width ,and the +/- off-set, 4/5 bolts, so on... of course it has to follow accordingly to what is available from the different brands.

I hope there will be more wheels in GT4, and that hey will be fitting with all the classic cars there will be in the game. some Fushc alloy wheels for those lotus, some watanabes for those Toyotas, some torq thrusts for those camaros. oh yeah.

As long as they have 24 inch Giovanni spinners I'll be happy with the game. Anything less is uncivilized.

Aww, snap!
Lot's of chrome one's I hope.

I really hope they do get some more wheel choices in GT4. I think that the selection from GT2/3 were very ugly. There's maybe 4 or 5 wheels out of the how ever many are in the game that I like.

I liked a lot of the wheels in GT3. Most of them black, red, or blue. Flat black wheels on a black car looks awesomely nizza. Red wheels on yellow cars and blue on blue cars. It's orgasmic.

The wheels are apparently going to be three dimensional this time around. I think I read that somewhere. If not then I'm just a moron.

You aren't alone. Thankfully. It shows that not everyone is stupid.

I think the wheels that I use the most often are a set from Ray's.

They are 6 spoke and bronze. I like that bronze look especially on a red or black car. Smooth.
But there are wheel company's in GT3 that only offer like 3 wheels. What really was the point in that? Advertisement I suppose?

Ha! Klos, your title rules. 👍

Oh, haha. I changed it before I read that.

I find that exceptionally funny. It'll be back before long though. I can't seem to keep a title or avatar for more than 2 days.

I particularly like the Enkei's, BBS's, and the Yokohama's.

You cant go wrong with the bronze TE37/LE37 Volks, especially when their 19inches and under a Supra.

And I never got the point of the Falken wheels. All two of them.

Heh, I have a dark gold pair of those on a white Supra RZ.

The bigger looking one looks the business on my white R33.

Maybe if wheel choice affects performance, why not shove a couple of bling bling chrome wheels in there. And watch the laptimes drop. :trouble:
