Hi,
Just wanted to create a thread to collect people's feedback on the new site.

For the record, I love it! Smart graphics, quick downloads. Nice new collection of smilies. I think the new header (with the online users, etc) is FANTASTIC.

Just a couple things though:
Is there a way to get MSN Messenger status in the threads like you have with AIM etc?
The Acceptable Use Policy page is getting 404: File not found at the moment.

Great work though.
 
Other than the name Spotscarspot, which I don't know whether it's yours or not, so far it is excellent, Jordan. Better than a :donut:

No, unfortunately, it's not possible to make use of this feature with MSN Messenger, because MSN doesn't provide the service (ICQ, Yahoo, and AOL are the one's really taking care of those, I just provide the link.) :(

Yeah, I was trying to upload the pages last night/this morning, but my computer suffered a crash and I won't have access to it until this afternoon. The new AUP will be available once the new site is completely online. :)

I own SportsCarSpot.com...what exactly are you talking about? :confused:
 
Sorry. Jordan, I had not seen other threads on the name at the time. I was not sure whether it was a link being set up as a partnership or not.

Just the spot part is not really my thing. But that is minor.

I know it's glitchy, but I was wondering if you have a streamload account?

Streamload? No, I'm not familiar with it. :confused:
 
Hey Jordan i dont know if you know about this or not but when i finish typing a reply and than try to insert a smile, everything i just typed gets deleted some how, and all left is my smilie.

i find that i have to insert the smile first before i start to type.
 
New site looks good - bit more slick, but not so different as to cause freakouts.

Ooh - and the fix on the smilies works.

Well gosh.. :rolleyes: okay i just found this out. It does not work right when you have the window with all the smiles already opend when you try and post a reply. :o Ill have to open the window up everytime if i want a different smile everytime i post something.



Did that make any sence at all??

just wanna back up NocturnalPS, its doing it to me too.
 
Hmmm, well, I just did a little expirementation myself and it seems that the window is just minimized. It actually closes itself once a smilie is clicked for you guys?

It minimizes itself and then when you try to put a smiley in after it has been minimized, like on your next post, it does it.

Not explained well, but thats it.......

This site is now the best I have ever seen. I mean you can see the top posters ever,this month, and in the last 24 hours! Referrals and everything available now! This iste kicks A55! JORDAN YOU HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB! THANKS! :D
 
The new site is great. I fixed the problem I was having, so I can now see the new smilies. the new options are cool. Keep up the good work Jordan. :)

I can't remember if I got here from GT3.com or a Google search. Google returns a bunch of good GTPlanet responces. Search for Gtplanet and your member name.
