...until they finally beat the Veyron for top speed and sales. That thing is a slight atrocity to my eyes though. I don't like it, I wouldn't want one. I would probably take the engine out if they gave me a free one and put in something more subtle. And maybe hire someone to re-do the exterior. Seriously, it's just a giant souppot of other cars put in one with an unbelievable engine that still won't get much rep. Then again, I'm a bigger fan of Enzo's and F1's, hence my point above.

You say "atrocity", talk about "subtle"... and then say you're a fan of the Enzo?

Does not compute.

I'm liking these new renders; Castriota's definitely got a particular style, but this works arguably better than the Mantide. Definitely has some P4/5 cues, which isn't a bad thing. It looks modern, and infinitely better-looking than the original SSC... though not American at all, now.

Herr VW is not happy. The only way to settle the dispute is by a drag race. In my opinion, the SSC is the way forward.

Funny though, of course when you talk about American styling I always resemble muscular lines, smoking tires and enormous grills, however, times are changing now, I would love to see more modern looking cars coming from American manufacturers.

The CTS-V is one of the best examples, looks eve, performance-wise it can technically beat an M5 and it's modern and muscular enough to be identified as an american ride everywhere. That doesn't apply to the Camaro, for instance. Anyway, each case is a particular case.

This new SSC is a step forward in terms of design, and this is how supercars are meant to be. This ultra high-tech-alien-startrek styling with leds and vents and many other little details wouldn't be suited to a muscle car or a beige sedan, but for a striking hypercar as the SSC is intending to be, it's perfect.
