New Standard Cars

So I've always wondered, what's with the new standard cars in GT5?

I played GT4 a lot and remember driving lots of the standard cars I have now in GT5, but there are a few new cars to GT5 that were not in GT4.

Here are a few of those cars I have:
Mazda Furai
NOMAD Diablo
Jaguar XFR
Lambo Countach LP400 and the 25th anniversary one
Bugatti Veyron


There could be more cars like this, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know of any others or more importantly, why aren't they premiums??

There's already a thread on this somewhere, but, the Nomad Diablo was (un)officially in GT3, The Furai, Countach (both), and the Veyron were in GT PSP; the XFR I genuinely don't know why that's Standard - it's entirely new to the game.

Beside the Diablo, all the other cars were in GTPSP. They just didn't have the time to make those cars "Premium".
