Not a big deal, although good to see them fit the 2.5 litre to it.

The interesting bit, though, is that apparently there is a turbo 2.5 litre coming out for it.

Mmm - that should fill out the top end quite nicely, methinks...

We run a Liberty RX, and I tell ya, I've been mightily impressed.

'Wheels' described the Liberty as either extremely good or mildly great, and I'd have to agree - there's been no problems with it at all (coming up to twelve months old now) and it's probably the friendliest handling car I've driven - a touchy understeery but a ridiculous level grip in both wet and dry.

As for the Forester styling - 'freshen up' might be a good phrase...

I love the 2002 model and this 2003 I like it it even more..

great outdoor family car...

I love my 02 WRX

Subaru's 2002 JGTC GT300 car dont look bad, but that Forester looks ugly :)

I love Subaru, they make exactly three engines (2.5 H4, 3.0 H6 and 2.0 TURBO H4) but here in Colorado especially the sell like CRAZY. The Outback is without question the best-selling car in Denver.

The Forester is NOT ugly!!!! (This is from a fella who thinks the new 7-Series is one of the best-looking sedans ever) Wait until you see a new Forester on the road before knocking it.

Mmm..it's okay. I don't think you'll see anything too shocking from Subaru for a while.

I think half the shock of the current Impreza was Subaru going out on a styling limb - much as I love the Liberty/Legacy, it isn't the most adventurously styled car in history.

Yeah, but I don't know why everyone was so incredibly critical of the new Impreza when the Jeep Liberty (Cherokee in Australia) has an even MORE adventurous styling, and in Britain and America, NOTHING was said about the styling. Eh, whatev'r. Yeah, Subaru's not too shocking :D

all subes are sweet. when i was a kid my dad had a 70's model wagon. dunno whatit was but it was blue and went hard. used to go carving in freshly ploughed cane fields. got stuck a fair few times butit was the best fun i ever had as a kid.

ooh, me luvs Subies. Our Subaru BRAT is IMHO the neatest car in the world... we currently have a 2 year old Outback (a few niggles, but otherwise fine... just came back from a trip where my dad was passing Corvettes at nearly 100mph in it! :p ) Half-sister ownz an Impreza, cousin has a Forester. We're just one big happy Subie family. :D
