As usual, marketing strikes again!

I wonder if it'll be decent enough so that it's a step in between a DFGT and say a T500RS.

Do Xbox wheels have PC compatiblity out of the box like PS3 wheels do?

PC and 360 have different FFB systems but I do not know. They might do what fanatec did and have three platform wheel. PC and PS3 FFB have same standard.

Even if it's a 270 degree it's got to be better than that embarrassing Mad Catz/Saitek wheel.

I was right:

Pedals look cheap. Also rim seems to be plastic with some rubber spots, which of course makes it a direct competitor for CSR-E :D

Waiting patiently to know if this has PC support, and if it'll be a step above Logitech wheels and a step below the T500RS.

If so I might be interested.

But looks exactly same and is listed as new to product list.

No, the pedal set is different. The F458 Italia was announced together with the Ferrari add-on rim for T500 last year around the Monza Grand-Prix.

It is a xbox-compatible non-FFB (bungee chord) wheel. Price in Germany is about 75€ and it has been available since late 2011.

It might be listed as "new" (confusing indeed) because it was the latest wheel released by Thrustmaster.

I do not think anybody should be in target group for that. 360 players need their own DFGT for entry level.

i take it vibration is not ffb. too bad because that cockpit design has some merrit since it's a pretty practical and clean solution for people with limited space.

anyway i am still hoping for a T500 RS attachement like a 458 wheel GT style, pipe dream :(

*sighs* The 360 continues to have lame wheel support topped off with M$'s last system update that screwed up many wheels (going on for well over a month now). I'm a 360 owner and yes I am affected by their last stupid update and now this wheel? Awesome.
