New To GTP

Surfed in on the web, and very excited to receive my pre-ordered GT5:Prologue, with steering wheel. I have played the 2nd version of GT on PS1 many years ago. I didn't really get into GT4 that much, due to the fact I was interested in other games at that moment.
I'm excited to join this site; I see plenty of information for new players, and a whole lot of activity!

People abused that privilege a long time ago. I think there was that option a long time ago anyways. There might not have been at all. But if there was it was because of abuse. I do know that alot of other things were banned from signatures because of abuse in the past.

I don't recall GTP ever having photos in the signature, unless it was long before December of 2001. I've never heard any long-timers moan about it, so I doubt it. You can link to any gallery; GTP even offers a personal one to all its members.

Personally: Pics in the sig get tiresome, and make reading posts more difficult. I modify the user options to "ignore signatures" on all forums that allow pics in it.

I remember Jordan saying that having banners in our sig would waste bandwidth and cause GTP to slow down (or something like that) But you'll get use to it like everyone else.... ;)
