Hey there,
Im new to rFactor and im slowly getting into but iv come across a problem when using my Logitech G27, i can assign all the controls etc fine but i want to be able to change the amount of angle the wheel turns.
I have saved my custom button assignment as 'g27' but it doesnt create a file in the control folder which i can then go and change the amount of angle? (which is how people are saying you change it).
Any ideas on how to change it then?

Other then that at the moment its going pretty good, currently downloading the FFB plugins etc and im just dealing with the bad graphics lol :)

Anyway im sure im going to have more questions soon about it and just wondering how big the rFactor community is on here?

Thanks alot!

controller.ini is the file you are looking for.

What mods are you playing? If you need recommendations, let us know.

Have you installed the Logitech software that came with the wheel? That's where you change your steering lock if that's what you mean?

A few guys on here play it, I do and I know at least 5 other aussies who do as well. ;) Give me a yell if you ever want to meet up online at some point.

Yeap i have the latest Logitech Profiler installed and as far as i can tell on that the wheel is setup to 900 Deg of rotation, i think the issue is that i have no controller.ini as stated above.

Yeah ill be keen as to meet up for a race once i get everything sorted out! lol :)

I'm one year late and I'm pretty sure you solved the problem. Well anyway, it might be useful for someone who has the same problem and he comes to this forum.

First, you need to go to your Logitech Profiler and set the degrees of rotation to 900 (or whatever you want). Then go to rFactor, to settings and controller and try to turn your wheel all the way to the left or right and if that bar that shows wheel's turning reaches the end when your wheel is at 900 degrees of rotation it works. But if you want to change the amount of degrees of turning in game (the steering wheel in cockpit) you have to locate the Controller.ini file that you've been talking about. It's in C:\Program Files (by default) \ rFactor\UserData\<your name>\controller.ini. You can there change it from 270 by default to 900 or whatever you want.
