Ok, so I've been an avid GT fan since the Ps1 release and I've enjoyed them all.

I lastly played back in late 2013 gt5 having great fun with the game and an online community that was really good and I could get on and play lobbies with ease and have fun.

So the question is this, I've got the game loaned from a friend, didnt even install it yet, I just browsed the net searching for some forums and people that played in an organized and competitive environment (like i did before i left) and managed to find 1-2, but they dont seem to be too alive.

My question is this, is it worth the installing? the downloading? The game is good? Can i find an online lobby and have fun or is this just dead ground until GT7 releases.

I want real answers, I'm not expecting 20000 lobbies and 1000000 players all the time, but if you can give me a reasonable answer to the community and what should I expect it would be great.

Thanks in advance.

David.

Try going to the online racing section of this site - one section is for race series while another is for clubs. You should find series or clubs which cover every type or preference of racing.

Regarding how easy it is get online - about four weeks ago something happened to the network so I haven't been able to race on a Sunday anymore and have had to cancel mt next race series because of network instability / constant disconnections - hopefully this will be fixed and normal service will return. On other days when demand is lower you should be fine racing online.

Thanks, I'll go checking around, for now I could install everything and play my first race online without problems, so thats a plus given all the troubles I read with patching

There was a PSN problem about four weeks ago where people would get logged out of PSN and then disconnected from the GT6 servers. But I have not seen that happen in a while.

I host every night, from what I have seen it is the same people that have problems staying connected so I think it is their Internet connections.

If your connection is solid you should be ok.
