He said in another thread he tunes with srf on , pretty sure it's just ignorance, he used 400 meters as well, doubt it was anything intentional, he's just new.

You sure your on racing soft tires ? 1.21 g's is low for that car, should be 1.26-1.27 g's. either that or your suspension is way out of whack, Lower your rear spring rate.

I just changed the dampers around and I'm getting 1.26 g's now :)

Hey everybody, I honestly did not know that aids were looked down on for drag and I will run my car again to perform a run without them.

However, does it matter whether I use KM or MPH? 400M is exactly 1/4 mile, just asking.

let me pull that picture down and do my best for you all.

Mind you I was only 0.035 slower without aids i my R34 so, maybe...

You'll get there. And 400m to 1/4 mile is like .010 Difference or maybe more. Its a big difference in drag times. And .035 is a big gap. But hey you will get there with time 👍

Welcome to gtplanet ElementRacer, keep trying and don’t give up. It’s not easy but it’s really fun.....👍

Make sure you use miles instead of kilometers and have all aids off.

Remember to time your cars with timed launch ok..

One of the main issues is that it's so damn hard to run on ssrx lol you can never get the perfect 0-60 and 0-100 to match up. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that my tune had an extra .005 left in it if I got the perfect run in.

yeah, its a damn pain. Even that 9.807 felt like I shifted third to fourth a little early.
Anyways, thats enough for me tonight. Might re flip it tomorrow, if I cant find another car to look at

Thanks for the kind words Danny.
But there are plenty of great tuners here who could easily lay their claim to top spot, and plenty more that don't post times.
Where/how I rank amongst it all, isn't really all that important to me.
Just happy to be part of the competition and add a little Aussie flavour into the mix.
Besides, someone has to keep the rest of you fella's on your toes. :)
