Actually, this garage is getting a fresh start. Future is presently uncertain, as I am speaking with Rockit about making a two-way garage.

Oh, and Vince: Sounds good, and it's R-grade tires. R3 maximum?

It's supercharged and running on S3's, but I could build you a R3 setup if you want to.

Yes, R3s please.

I've gotta finish the F6 for Aussie Tuners (Then I will have done all that I said I would), and I'm still talking to Rockit. It will calm down after a while.

Plymouth thunderbird? wow that's a mess of a comment. There isn't even a thunderbird in gt, i was going to laugh because people often confuse thunderbird and firebird(why the hell is there a SHO in gt but no trans am??), and i thought you had a three way f up goin on till i remembered the superbird.

enter the superbird, which is a pretty sweet car in real life, but which i don't worry about too much in gt. Now,a very similar car would be the charger, a b body chrysler which i have a tune of, and far prefer to the superbird. Mostly because my father owns one of those cars, a 70 Charger R/T with the 440. not a six pack car, it has a single four barrel holley that flows 750 cfm.

trivia time, what does chryslers old r/t logo stand for? how bout chevy's SS badge, if you're over 25 years old you can't answer this one i want to see if any of the teens know american sports car heritage.

By the way, this was NEVER a garage thread, just me saying hi. i dunno why it's stuck around this long.

Rotory junkie, your inbox is full i can't pm you!

Yer my bad on the mistake Rockit. im not the smartest of people sometimes :dopey:
The R/T stands for Rapid Transit and it was first used in 1966 on a Dodge Cornet. and i think SS stands for Super Sport. Plus im 15 so im no 25 year old.

Very good on the trick question;) okay more muscle trivia, what's widely accepted as the first of the muscle cars, give it's full name as it has three! and yes it's in GT4.

Second muscle trivia, If you knew the answer to the first question, what does the name mean??

How about Pontiac GTO alias Goat alias The Judge?

GTO comes from Gran Turismo Omologato as it was homologated to run in the GT class. "Goat" is just a nickname derived from how the GTO is pronounced and "The Judge" gives a clear view of the degree of domination the car had. Actually, The Judge is a different car from the one in GT4 as it was the '69 model but whatever, this is my answer.

Very good. I hadn't thought of those names, i was actually looking for Tempest Le mans GTO but you knew what was up. Chryslers been running an ad claiming the 300c as the original muscle car, made me choke on my dinner more then once. Also cudos for the meaning of GTO lot of pontiac guys dunno what it means!

Okay moving on, it's a pony car and it holds the sales record worldwide which hasn't been beat in over fourty years, this ones easy.

another one for you, lil trickier, Whats the largest cubic inch motor, which also had the highest advertised torque from the muscle car era, may surprise you!more specifically, it WAS a muscle car, some cadilacs had more torque and cubes but were never muscle cars.

very good! hmm i gotta dig for something more challenging here..

This came up earlier sort of, name the original two classes of the SCCA trans am series in terms of displacement allowed.

More american racing trivia, the Superbird is based off of what B-Body mopar, Name the SuperBird's sister car and what it was converted from as well.

Name the original car that evolved into the "stingray" vette's

Which was first, thunderbird or corvette?

no googling! if you have to google don't answer the question!

oh and i believe the stage 1 buicks were rated at 550 rediculous foot lbs! that's crazy how did they launch that thing?

Buick: They didn't.

Stingray: Mako Shark.

Superbird Sister car: Dodge Daytona.

Base: Roadrunner, wasn't it?

Tbird/vette: Vette.

Dang, treed on most of these, but on the Pontiac Tempest Lemans GTO, the GTO stood for "gran turismo omulongatto (sp?)"

i choked the first time i saw a 302 badge on an old z"isn't that a ford motor" my co worker laughed, "thought you were a chevy guy" never forget that. silver with black stripes z28, 1969 with the cowl induction hood, no spoilers and some weld racing wheels, beautiful ar that rocks dragway 42 to this day.
one 302 or another will reign supreme shortly, i'll post up my setup bby monday rotary;)

sunday evening sound good? and who's doing the verification? we need volunteers to battle it out with the pony cars!! who's down to try each of the three mini muscle's and report back their times at infineon sports car course, the vegas drag strip and laguna seca?
Hey GT40 if you want to see some of my work, look into my locked garage thread, there's a few setups at the top including two vipers, my answer to the skyline. i hope you have good throttle control...
